Dal 1947, questo rinomato ristorante palermitano è famoso per le sue specialità fritte tradizionali. Assaggia panelle (frittelle di ceci) e crocchè (crocchette di purè di patate), classici snack locali; una vera esperienza di street food siciliano.
L'Arco di Cutò è un antico monumento di Palermo, risalente al XIII secolo. Fa parte del Palazzo Cutò ed è uno degli ingressi principali del Mercato di Ballarò.
Visita un’amata pasticceria palermitana, in funzione da 56 anni e celebrata anche dal NY Times! Lo chef preparerà due tipi di sfincione: il Palermitano con pomodori e caciocavallo, e il Bagherese con tonno, formaggio e cipolle.
L’Arancina è il cibo di strada più famoso di Palermo. In questa vecchia farmacia, Anna ha aperto un piccolo bistrò dove il cibo viene preparato fresco tutti i giorni e le arancine sono belle e rotonde, come dovrebbero essere!
Una delle piazze storiche più suggestive di Palermo, a pochi passi dai Quattro Canti. Al suo centro spicca la Fontana Pretoria, una fontana rinascimentale del XVI secolo originariamente realizzata a Firenze e successivamente trasportata a Palermo in 644 esemplari singoli.

Alessia was such a knowledgeable, nice, and accommodating guide. We learned so much about Palermo and its food culture, from the pizza to the arancini to the cannoli to the espresso. The walk through Ballaro market gave us a sense of the vibrancy of Palermo and its people. Most importantly Alessia treated my young daughters as members of the tour and encouraged them to try everything we ate. This was a true growth experience for them!
