We were already looking for a suitable guide on the Internet before visiting the excavation site and quickly landed at KnossosGuide due to the good reviews and fair prices. We booked a small group tour, which turned out to be a big advantage. The tours offered on site include large groups of 20 or more people who marched through the facility almost in a hurry. On the other hand, we were only 4 guests and could take more time just because of that. The 90 minutes passed, however, as if in flight. Not least because of the highly knowledgeable leader. You immediately noticed that she has a great passion for the Palace of Knossos and is very happy to share her wide expertise with guests. As a result, we have learned many exciting anecdotes and stories about the plant. All our questions were also answered competently. Conclusion: The tour with KnossosGuide was a highlight of our stay in Crete. We can recommend the provider without reservation.

Our guide was very pleasant and did a great tour spoken in English. Quite knowledgeable. We were assigned our guide at random when we arrived at the gate. 20 Euros each for 2 of us when join by another couple. (80 Euros for the tour.)
Dear V6807..., The guides that you hired on the spot to guide you in Knossos, unfortunately, their main concern is to convince you to give them 20 € per person and then to run with you through to the palace. Returning to their post and find more visitors like you for 20 euro a person. As you may have already realized they are not a listed site or business or authorized or pay any tax to the Greek government, not enabling you to post a review about their services or quality of professionalism. You by accident have chosen to post on out wall-our business listing that is an official authorized legitimate agency that pays all taxes. We are not the ones that tricked you into booking on the spot a guide for 20 euro per person. Please do not hesitate to book online or through trip advisor a tour with our excellent professional authorized guides and visit Knossos with us! We had an enthusiastic and knowledgable guide for the tour. She answered our questions almost before we asked them. She had a group of French people on the tour as well as we two Americans and she was able to speak both languages and to make sure all of us understood.

Pick up and drop off went smoothly. We were met at the palace by WeGuide and taken right to our tour guide (skipped the long line) who was excellent as were the drivers and the WeGuide rep who met us at the palace. Tour was excellent! We were also able to use our ticket to visit the museum. Thanks to all for a well run pick up, drop off and tour!
