Our super friendly guide Elisa brought us to two fantastic wineries where the experience was very personal and relaxed. The owners of the wineries presented their products and the surroundings in a very intriguing way. We learned a lot!
Really enjoyed this tour, we went to two small wineries and were fortunate enough to have our tour with the owner of the first one, and a family member at the second one. Our tour host was very kind and gave us good information as we drove through the different areas. We also were very lucky that it ended up being a private tour, because we went during the weak in the off season, but often times it’s groups of 8 or so people. You’ll love the wines!
This was a fantastic experience and highly recommended. We got to visit two very different wineries and learn more about the wine-making process from passionate people, whilst sampling four wines at each destination. If you're into wine definitely check this out.
Fantastic afternoon spent visiting 2 vineyards. Anna our tour guide was excellent and spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable about the regions wines. The wines were lovely and we given good servings more than I expected. We booked it as the weather forecast was bad and it was a great thing to do as it's indoors but equally I'd say go anytime.
We have been on many Italian wine tours over the years and were very pleased to discover Pagus. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with how they managed our first tour: 1. Minibus with non functioning air conditioning in 38 °. 2. One seatbelt in the second row was broken and would not lock (we did not need it but a bigger tour would have done). 3. Inexperienced young male guide who gave us absolutely NO information about anything at all and in fact did not speak more than a handful of words to us for the whole 4 hours (he told us it wasn't far to walk to the first winery). In view of the awards they hold and the relatively high cost of the half day tour we did expect a more professional service and are very disappointed indeed. We emailed Pagus directly about our dissatisfaction but have yet to hear from them. We would give 5 stars to the 2 excellent wineries, but due to the unprofessionalism of Pagus can only award 2.
An absolutely fabulous afternoon. There were just 5 of us on the tour in a (thankfully air conditioned) mini bus and we went to two wineries. The hosts at both were very knowledgeable and the tastings were excellent with accompanying cheese and meats. We had 5 wines at each and had an excellent afternoon.
It was nice to have such small group. It was like our own person wine tour and was very nice. The guides knew a lot of info
First of all want to thanks Pagus Wine for this incredible tour wine! The two wineries we visited were amazing! The wines were delicious the Soave and the Valpoicella wines are so delicious and each one have their story! But totally recommend this wine tour is so awesome and the hostess in each winery where so friendly so kind that it’s was an awesome experience
Excellent tour to organic vineyards. Great tour for people who know a bit about wine production and are interested in the technical side. Also lots of sampling!! Our tour guide ,Elizabeth, was really good. Tour was meant to end at 630 pm. It ended at 730 pm which reflects the fun we were all having.
We had a great afternoon visiting two vineyards in the Soave and Valpolicella regions. In fact, it was like a private tour as there were only three of us out of a possible eight. Anna was a fantastic guide, and the wine specialists in each winery were welcoming and happy to share their knowledge with us. We particularly enjoyed the Valpolicella tastings - our Christmas wine purchases are now sorted! Don’t hesitate to book!
