Good wines and tour. Quality wine
I had a lovely afternoon with two amazing wine producers who shared the love of wine with us.
Alice was our tour g guide and was great educating us on the local winemaking process. We accidentally left a travel bag at one winery and Alice was so kind to get it back to us the first thing in the morning. That was very kind. I would highly recommend Pagus and Alice.
Our tour was fabulous! We were 2 couples and 2 adult children for a total of 6. Our guide Roberto was very engaging and knowledgeable about history of the Valpolicella wine region and the wineries we were going to visit. We were staying in Central Verona so Pagus tour office was easy to get to. Having transportation provided by Pagus to the wineries was a real plus. My husband and I are big fans of Amarone wine and cautious about which 2 wineries we would be visiting since they were not well known labels in the United States. Both wineries had great tours and excellent wines! One cellar was medium sized and the other small. We all bought some wine to ship home via Pagus. The total of 8 person tour was the perfect size and we met a lovely couple from England. I would highly recommend this tour for both experienced wine lovers and novices new to wine tasting!
My wife and I had a thoroughly enjoyable wine tour with Pagus. Our guide and driver was Roberto and he was outstanding. There were just the two of us and felt that the wineries, one medium sized and one small and new, were a perfect balance. We received close up experiences at both locations. The wines were excellent and we purchased wine at both locations. At the newer winery we met the owner, who was an excellent host and shared his enthusiasm. If you enjoy Amarone take this tour! If you do not know about Amarone, but enjoy red wines, you need this experience.
Our tour was great. We visited a major and minor producer. The major producer was very impressive and gave us a wonderful understanding of the production of Amerone and the other varieties. We probably could have passed on the 2nd visit as it was a startup with little to no experience. Our tour guide, Alice, was awesome.
The two wineries we visited were wonderful. The hosts at each winery were personable and full of information. Our tour guide did a great job getting us to and from the wineries. She was very friendly and engaging. The wines we tasted were exquisite!
Pagus wine tours definitely delivered on this one. We loved the wineries showcased and enjoyed the differences between the two wineries. Pagus provided personalized services and exceptional customer service. Davide was wonderful - very knowledgeable and a skilled driver! We would recommend their tours to anyone looking to relax and enjoy a few (to many) hours of good wine!
