Paddle Boarding Tour sulla bellissima costa di Marbella

My partner and I went paddle boarding and we were the only two there so we had two instructors join us for the tour (if you can call it that). The instructions and the paddle boarding was very straightforward but you need to have good balance when standing otherwise you’ll probably fall off a few times into the sea. Which in this heat was actually a blessing. The instructors were really nice but I don’t see how this was a tour though. We went a good few hundred meters out into the sea and pretty much stayed there. There was not much in the way of a guided tour to caves or anything further. For my partner and I we weren’t bothered and enjoyed ourselves regardless but in case you are expecting a whole tour to different areas in the sea you might be disappointed. Overall a really good experience to try paddle boarding, just without the tour part.

Luna is a wonderful guide keeping us safe in and out of the busy marina. Very friendly and helpful instructions with lots of time to stop and swim! 10 out of 10 :)

We had a lot of fun. Only the experience is not as described. We had nice instructors and they took us to a part outside the harbor and that's where we lay the whole time. So we have been in 1 bay, the bay next to the harbor. There we lay for about an hour, which was also nice, a bit tried to stay on the board. But certainly not been to different bays as was mentioned. Nothing was told about the history either. For us fine but is not the same as what is in the description.

The experience was a bit long and tiring, and mainly in the waves of speedboats. The people were nice. There was no water, beer or snacks provided even though it said this was included on the ticket. Bring water with you.

We went for a second activity with Nalusur having had a great time on their e-bike tour in May, and decided to try out Paddle boarding this time. We had an amazing time. We started out with a basic orientation in the harbour and then headed out to the bay by the beach. SUPing turned out to be relatively easy as long as we had calm waters under us but once we got some waves in the bay our balancing skills were tested out. We both took a few plunges in during our couple of hours on the board. My boyfriend gave up eventually on trying to stand and turned his paddle board into a floating sun tanning platform. I tried it out for a little longer. We both felt it in our legs the next day - paddle boarding gives you a good leg workout. We’ll be back for more! We had forgotten to bring hats along but there are plenty of souvenir and beach wear shops in the area near the Puerto Deportivo so we got the missing hats for a reasonable price. I definitely also recommend bringing sun block and a long sleeved top unless you already have good base tan. The sun on the sea is merciless, and the long sleeves saved my white skin from a sunburn.
