Inizia il tour a Barranco, il sobborgo più bohémien di Lima. Vedremo il Central Park di Barranco, la sua Biblioteca Comunale, il tradizionale Ponte dei Sospiri, le case coloniali e il suo famoso viale. Successivamente, guideremo lungo la South Pacific Coast Highway fino a Pachacamac, il centro cerimoniale più importante della costa peruviana durante i periodi pre-Inca e Inca. Nel corso dei secoli Pachacamac è stata occupata da molte diverse civiltà andine come Lima, Wari, Ichma e infine dall'Impero Inca. Tuttavia, l'Oracolo di Pachacamac è sempre rimasto un centro religioso. Vedremo diversi templi e recinti piramidali di diversi periodi: l'Adobitos e il Tempio Vecchio (I CAD), il Tempio dipinto (VIII CAD), una piramide con una rampa (XIII CAD) e il Tempio del Sole (XV CAD) . Oltre alle rovine visiteremo anche un museo in loco che espone ceramiche, tessuti, ornamenti di conchiglie e pietre, nonché l'idolo Pachacamac in legno trovato durante gli scavi (1938)

Diverse experience with a walking tour of Barranco area of Lima which gave us an insight into the diversity and artistic cultural aspects of this beautiful area. The trip out to Pachacamac was also fascinating and quite awe inspiring to understand how the site has been excavated and to gain knowledge of how these early races lived, created the temple and other areas of the and how they worshipped their gods. Our guide and driver were both knowledgeable and respectful of the location.

This is such a massive site that the vehicle takes everyone to different areas. Seeing the construction from different periods and people's id very informative.

The best tour we've had in Lima, Excellent guide with brilliant English and very informatitive in local knowledge and history, well rounded tour seeing the highlights of the area.
