Descrizione

Serena was very knowledgeable and shared key insights throughout the tour. We very much enjoyed the tour.
Serena made us feel welcome from the beginning of the tour. Her knowledge of the outside carvings and mosaics was amazing. Inside the stories to go with the paintings and painters history was so detailed. Best two hours spent in Orvieto of the 3 day stay. It’s a must do.
Selena did a wonderful job coordinating our tour arrangements. We had a couple of travel glitches getting to Orvieto and Selena worked smoothly and gladly to adjust. She has complete command of the historical, architectural, and cultural background of the beautiful cathedral and town. And she has the passion for the subjects that you want in a guide. And after the tour, she suggested Bartolomei Ristorante for lunch, which was the perfect place—off the beaten path and one we never would have known about otherwise. Orvieto is full of charm and character, and the cathedral is one of Europe’s most beautiful. We couldn’t have been happier with Selena’s tour.
We enjoyed our private tour very much. Our guide, whose name unfortunately I cannot recall now, was very knowledgable about Orvieto itself and the cathedral in particular. The funicular ride up from the train station was fun, too!
We were just there 2 days ago and well worth the stop. It is so beautiful and took 300 years to complete. Orvieto in general is a lovely area to visit.
Stunning and human-scale town, many alleys, shops and restaurants (many closed in February). We enjoyed the tour on foot because there were very few tourists. The hotel chosen right near Piazza Duomo. The wonderful Cathedral. I recommend everyone to visit it.
Our guide Serena was excellent. She pointed out many things that would go unnoticed if you were not with a guide. We were really happy with her and all the knowledge she had.
Great tour guide, who was very knowledgeable. It was a lovely experience. We learned so much! This is a must tour for those wishing to learn about Orvieto.
I've never seen something so majestic, it's definitely worth a visit. The five-euro ticket also includes visits to two museums and the cathedral basement.
Very informative tour with great attention to details and art. Serena showed us around the cathedral and the old town for over 2 hours. Highly recommended!
