A fantastic tour of Old Louisville!! Our tour guide Gabe was phenomenal—he was so knowledgeable and gave the perfect blend of facts, stats, and entertaining stories! The architecture was so varied, and some of the landscaping was just breathtaking. At times you felt like you’d walked into a secret world. If you have time for only one thing in Louisville, skip the bourbon and head to Old Louisville, AND ASK FOR GABE!!

This Original Old Louisville walking tour offers a thorough introduction to America’s largest Victorian neighborhood. It takes you along the edges and into the center of Saint James Court and Belgravia Court, introducing you to various styles of architecture, principal actors in the neighborhood’s emergence, the effects of history on the decline and re-emergence of the neighborhood’s grandeur. You walk among grand homes and hidden paths and even smaller shotgun houses. There is a witches tree, a brilliant fountain, and exquisite gardens to explore. David Domine is a brilliant tour guide. Put this tour early in your Louisville visit. You’ll want to come back and explore more on your own.
