Stop looking, this is the one you want to book. Amazing trip out to a private island starts with a guitarist on the boat ride out, and with a limited number of guests on the boat you're guaranteed a good seat. Snacks and drinks are provided on the boat, and once you get to the island you'll have an open bar and great lunch cooked for you. The snorkling was a huge highlight. The guides know the reef back to front and cater for guests of all abilities. All the gear you need is provided including floatation vests, and a tender floats around the guests who are less confident in the water. We followed a guide who took us a bit further out who showed us where the reef sharks and porcupine fish hung out, along with thousands of other reef fish happy enough to swim around you for a look. Back on shore theres kayaks and paddle boards, massages for an added extra, and the guides are happy to chat all day about Fijian culture. Absolute 5 star day out. Don't book the other trips, book this one.

Booked thru BookMe.com and was pleased with the discounted tickets. The catamaran leaves from Port Denarau marina at 10am & it takes about 90 minutes to reach the little island. Crew is friendly and professional. The guitar and singing on board is a highlight. We transferred to a smaller tender to reach the beach. Water was warm & clear. The BBQ lunch included salads, fruit and meat. Open bar had a selection of wine, beer and soft drinks. Plenty of comfortable sun lounges and picnic tables. A perfect little paradise to enjoy. I went out snorkelling (all gear is provided) and on the glass bottom boat. Plenty of little fish and sea life to enjoy. Trip back was a little choppy but I felt very safe. The crew is so friendly and kind - real Fijian hospitality. Recommend to others wanting to avoid the crowds

What an awesome day out! Totally recommend this trip to anyone (those with mobility issues will be challenged however). The friendly, professional team welcomes you on board their catamaran (seats about 32) with guitar and singing. It is a 90 minute cruise to Savala Island with morning tea en route (soft drinks, tea/coffee, fruit cake, coconut biscuits). Up to 10 people can sit up front on the nets which is great fun (can get wet). At Savala a small tender takes you ashore. Crew is on hand to assist but as mentioned earlier, this transfer could be problematic for the elderly or those with mobility issues. 2 warriors in traditional garb greet you (photo op) and you make your way up the sandy beach to the main facilities (open air dining room with picnic bench seatings, kitchen, flush toilet & out door fresh water showers). Plenty of sun lounges, a hammock, outdoor picnic tables. Snorkelling gear as well as paddle boards & sea kayaks are available to use. Lunch is a basic (but generous) BBQ buffet with potato & egg salad, green salad, toasted garlic bread, chop suey-type of noodles, chicken, sausages and lamb chops. Cut up Tropical fruit and Fruit juice also. (I saw one guest served white rice so those with special dietary needs are catered to). You are encouraged to come back for seconds (or thirds) and it was most satisfying. The open bar serves red & white wine, beer and soft drinks. Birthdays & other celebrations are acknowledged by the staff with song and genuine good wishes. Everyone is very friendly and sincere. This really is a wonderful day trip to an amazing destination. Lots of fish, other sea life & coral to see when snorkelling or out in glass bottom boat. We tendered back to the catamaran about 2.45pm and as the wind had picked up, it was a a little rough. People who get motion sickness should come prepared. Afternoon tea was offered & we were entertained by guitar/singing which was great. Highly recommend this tour for those wanting to avoid big crowds and wanting a more personal, bespoke experience. The island is something to experience

What a great day out to yr own island. There were around 30 people on this trip. Great morning tea. Lunch was an amazing BBQ with drinks included. The facilities on the island were fabulous. Clean and well kept. Crew was so helpful nothing was a problem. Snorkeling paddle boarding glass bottom boat massage if are into that ( take yr card as massage is additional cost) or just bobbing in the beautiful ocean. 100% recommend. Will be back in 2027 with family. BULA VINAKA.

What a wonderful day in Fiji… Getting to spend a sunny day snorkelling around a white sands island - Savala Island…. Then having an amazing Fijian 🇫🇯 Lunch & get some real Fijian culture. The staff were amazing & it was such a great experience, love that the food & drinks (both alcoholic & non-alcoholic) included in the package. Great Value & best Fijian Experience

Beautiful pristine island with beautiful and friendly people! We were well fed, kept hydrated with an all-inclusive bar on the island, and shown beautiful reefs during our snorkel tour. They only take one small boat at a time, so you have the island to yourself and your small tour group. We had access to kayaks and snorkel gear, all included in the ticket. Mr Wise has an incredible voice and sang for us for the entire trip. Steven gave us history and cultural lessons throughout our tour and took great care of us. Great value for money, a beautiful experience, I cannot recommend OoLaLa cruises enough!

Staff are very friendly. The island is pure and beautiful. Compare to another island trip we went (due to Oolala cannot be booked for the earlier days), this is less commercial feeling and the beach is smoother. Love the interactions with the staff - beautiful singing and interesting coconut show. We hesitated before booking as we've already been on another cruise, but this one worth it. No regret! Highly recommend.

Brilliant snorkeling; so many fabulous fish; then a lovely barbecue and stories. Thank you to everyone for looking after us all so well, such a relaxing, fun, day out.

Must do private island cruise

What a privilege to visit a tiny sandy private island for a few hours. A gem in the sparking turquoise sea. I was most interested in the snorkeling and it was great to see a healthy reef, abundant fish, and our boat tied to a mooring (instead of an anchor) to protect it all. The crew were all top notch, keeping an eagle eye on us and making sure everyone wasn’t just safe but happy. But oh, the singing was surely the best part!
