Dopo essere venuti a prendervi dall'hotel, il tour inizierà da Shatti Al-Qurum (accanto all'Intercontinental Hotel). Nakhl è un tipico villaggio dell'Oman. Si trova ai piedi delle montagne vicino a un'abbondante fonte d'acqua, che irriga vaste piantagioni di palme da dattero. Il tour di Nakhl inizierà guidando verso Nakhl Fort. Mentre ti avvicini a Nakhl, tieni d'occhio la fortezza che si trova su una collina fuori dalla città. L’origine del forte è preislamica con importanti contributi delle dinastie Al Ya’ruba e Al Bu Sayed. Visiteremo il forte dall’esterno (il forte è chiuso per ristrutturazione) e l’acqua delle sorgenti calde cariche di minerali a Nakhl (sorgente termale di Al Thowarah). Poi ci fermiamo a Seeb souq in riva al mare per una sosta fotografica.. Il tour terminerà nel centro commerciale Avenue e poi ti trasferiremo di nuovo al tuo hotel.

Il forte di Nakhal è uno dei forti più noti in Oman. Costruito sulla cima di una grande roccia, il forte ha subito molti miglioramenti nel corso dei secoli e oggi accoglie i visitatori che desiderano godere di viste panoramiche sul villaggio di Nakhal e sulla collezione di manufatti storici ospitata all'interno del museo.

Great tour with an informative audio guide, pickup was on time. There were no other tourists in the fort and it was nice and quiet, it’s a very well preserved and impressive structure with beautiful mountains in the background. I highly recommend this tour!

I booked two back to back trips with this company. After booking 2 days later got an email from them saying the 'port' was closed and asked me if I wanted to still take it or cancel. After a couple of email exchanges and still not clear what options I had, on the my first tour I asked the driver to help me and clarify. He connected me to the office and we agreed to cancel the tour as it was not the 'port' but the 'fort' which was the main attraction that was closed, the lady on the phone confirmed and agreed to refund. Long and behold the driver then arrives at the hotel for pick up. I told him it was cancelled and he went away. No surprise that my refund was never processed and all emails were ignored.
