Ogni regione dell’India ha il suo street food unico e Delhi non fa eccezione. Visita i nostri venditori preferiti nella Vecchia Delhi e prova le specialità locali chole bature, dahi bhalla e aloo chat, oltre a paratha, lassi e il dolcissimo ma delizioso jalebis e l'equivalente locale del budino di riso e del budino di pane e burro. Tutti questi piatti sono vegetariani, ma i mangiatori di carne avranno la possibilità di provare il pollo fritto indiano nel vivace quartiere di Matia Mahal verso la fine del tour. Oltre ad assaggiare il meglio del cibo di strada della Vecchia Delhi, faremo anche qualche giro turistico mentre esploriamo il più grande mercato delle spezie in Asia, faremo una passeggiata lungo Chandni Chowk e ci fermeremo ad ammirare l'imponente Jama Masjid. Assorbiremo il trambusto delle strade strette mentre visitiamo diverse località in risciò. **Si prega di notare che il mercato delle spezie ha molta meno attività la domenica. Per il tour delle 13:00 c'è circa il 50% di attività in meno e per il tour delle 17:00 è chiuso.

Itinerario
Il tour inizierà al Gate 1, della stazione della metropolitana Rajiv Chowk in Connaught Place.
Gli ospiti hanno l'opportunità di assaggiare dahi bhalla (uno spuntino tradizionale a base di yogurt), aloo chaat, paratha e jalebi che danno una grande rappresentazione dei tanti sapori unici della cucina indiana
Visita il più grande mercato delle spezie dell'Asia e assaggia il chole bhature (un piatto tradizionale punjabi)
Ammira la Moschea Jama, il cuore dell'Islam a Delhi, dall'esterno e assaggia il pollo marinato. Termina il tour con deliziosi dessert locali come il kheer (budino di riso indiano) e lo shahi tukda (pane imbevuto di latte e noci, come il budino di pane). Se hai ancora spazio nello stomaco, puoi lavare tutto questo con un po' di lassi rinfrescante.

The food tour in Old Delhi was perfectly organized, with stops at some excellent places, and the food was outstanding. Naresh, my guide, was exceptional — his knowledge and kindness go hand in hand! I hope to have another opportunity to explore Delhi with him in the future. I came alone and left with a friend.

The food was great, the atmosphere was quite unique and our guide, Naresh, was fantastic! He was full of information about not only the food but the area as well. Would definitely recommend for the unique experience and delicious food.
