Questo forte del XX secolo è l'elemento più giovane e più importante del sito archeologico di Al Zubara, patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO. Il forte, che è stato inserito nella Lista del Patrimonio Mondiale dell'UNESCO in riconoscimento per la sua conservazione e come esempio unico di un periodo formativo.
Al Jumail è un villaggio abbandonato di pescatori e perle che era abitato dalla famiglia Alkubaisi. Fondata nel XIX secolo e abitata fino al XX secolo, in seguito al boom economico determinato dall'industria del petrolio e del gas, la gente iniziò a trasferirsi, preferendo essere nelle principali città.
Questa è la punta e l'estremità nord-est del Qatar.

Good ture to experience with mohammed he was a very good driver and guide and looked after us so well on a very hot day the cold water was appreciated very much
I did the North tour with Mr. Nawaz and he was so kind and knowledgeable. He told me a lot about Qatar, the history, and different places that we drove past. It was a wonderful experience and nice to see outside of the city. I would not hesitate to do another tour!
4/5 1. Nice art in the middle of the desert 2. Parkings available. 3. Perfect time that camels were around when we visited the place. 4. Road from the city towards the destination is very good. Only there will be rough road is when you enter towards the parking. 5. Things to improve- needs to put toilet or refreshments areas because there is high chances visitors might need to use toilet during the visitation. Also during summer months it it very necessary to have access with drinking water near the parking area.
Did not get to see Olafur Eliasson shadows in the desert. Not sure why? Our guide Adil was great but sometimes hard to hear. Enjoyed other sites which we had seen before. Love the millions of shells in courtyard of Zubhara fort.
Zafar was a very good guide and driver and gave us a lot of interesting informazioni. To suggest to every friends! 100 caratteri are too many for me!!

Great trip with mr Ibrahim. Visited Al Zubara, Ain Mohammed, Al Jumail and Olafur's art. Took many photo's. Mr. Ibrahim was very nice and patient. We had very nice conversations.
