A gentle stroll though part of the city. We had a very knowledgeable guide who gave lots of background information about the places we visited. Our group was split into two so that it wasn't too large (we only had 12 in our group.

The tour was at a good pace for all different ages and abilities. The tour guide knew her stuff and was very friendly. It was a very hot day so I definitely appreciated the stops in the shade. Would recommend this to anyone, history buffs or people who just want to know a little about the town they're visiting!

My sister and I attended the Viator guided tour of this historic city. Kirsten, our guide, made the history of Canterbury come alive with her knowledge of events - some of them quite quirky but always interesting - explaining time, place and people in ways that one would remember. The ancient and modern history of the cathedral were focussed on as well as past social and cultural events in the city. Unusually, language associations were explained which were satisfying. We would thoroughly recommend this tour.

It was such a great tour! An amazing time in Canterbury and our guide was so knowledgeable and passionate. His poetry reading skills were unmatched! He gave us so much interesting information about the town and its history, answered all our questions and gave us great recommendations on where to go after the tour. Thank you!

We had a very interesting and enjoyable walking tour on Tuesday 9th June, guided by Sue who was excellent. Fortunately, we were part of a small group so we could hear Sue clearly. She made the tour interesting with historical facts and gave us some amusing anecdotes along the way. We covered a good chunk of the city centre but it's easy walking and took about 1hr 40mins in total.
