Odori di Kathmandu Walking Day Tour

I did the Smells of Kathmandu walking tour and had an amazing experience! My guide was patient, knowledgeable and took me to explore streets and alleys I would have never found on my own as a tourist. He took many amazing photos and videos of me too. A unique experience that I am very glad I did.

Thanks, to the company that they give me a german guide, Rajendra. He spoke perfect German and explained everything, absolutely everything, to me during our walk. Thank you so much for the magnificent impressions of Kathmandu.

As the tour description promises, Sunil took me into the narrow streets and alleys of old Kathmandu. Most tourists don't venture there as they would get lost in no time. It is busy, colourful, crowded with pedestrians and scooters. Just locals going about their daily lives. Sunil is very knowledgeable and very happy to share this aspect of his city with a visitor.

The trip was very good and the guy have is a good information. He took as to the local place and we tried the delicious tea. I really recommend this trip.

We spent a very interesting afternoon with Sunil discovering the hidden side of Kathmandu, strolling through the small streets, discovering squares, monuments on every street corner, and soaking up the Nepalese culture and smells . A visit not to be missed to get off the beaten track and discover the “real” Kathmandu!

Had a great walking tour with Sunil. Learned a heap about the culture and society in Nepal. It was the quiet season so I was the only one on the tour but Sunil ran it anyway. A great way to get oriented in Kathmandu. Highly recommended.
