I seen another luau prior and that was a great show. However this one used almost same jokes. And the food was awful. The noodles had green mold and watermelon had a bug on it.
It was a wonderful experience the experience was unbelievable the people in the show were really entertaining and enjoy to watch their skill was unimaginable and enjoyed every moment of it
The food was horrible. The seat was in the sun as we got very hot and sweaty.
Amazing Show, Disappointing Value!! We left the Ka Moana Luau with mixed feelings. The show was absolutely the best part of the evening. The performers were incredibly talented, and you could see the passion they put into every dance and performance. If I were rating the entertainment alone, it would easily be 5 stars. Unfortunately, everything else fell short for us. At about $225 per person, we expected much more. The food was just cold and didn’t feel like it matched the price we paid. We were also looking forward to enjoying the ocean view, but it was mostly obstructed from where we were seated (celebrity seating), which was disappointing considering the location and the tier price we paid. The two drink tickets also felt a bit limiting given the length of the evening and the premium cost of the experience. Overall, I’m glad we got to see the show because it was truly excellent. But if I’m being honest, I don’t feel the overall experience justified the price. We left talking about how amazing the performers were—but also wishing the food, view, and overall value had matched the quality of the entertainment.
My family thoroughly! The greeters, dancers, hostess and host (chief) was amazing! We will definitely come back soon! We would recommend this show to anyone! It was so awesome!
Nothing like the website. Waste of money and time! Food was cold and had no flavor. We bought the celebrity package, what a scam to spend extra money. Show was underwhelming and forgettable. I would not recommend.
Very entertaining!! Food wasn’t bad, for someone who doesn’t eat any fish or Korea food. Had a drink out of pineapple.
Absolute scam. Do not waste your money or your evening. This "Luau" is a total con from start to finish. The buffet ran dry embarrassingly fast, leaving huge numbers of guests with nothing to eat at all. What little food was left over was bland, stale, and borderline inedible, clearly an afterthought, not a meal. There was zero on-site cooking, which defeats the entire point of a traditional luau — no imu pit, no roasted pork, no live fire, nothing. Just sad, pre-made trays dumped out and left to go cold. The drinks were somehow even worse. You'd think paying for a drink ticket would actually get you a drink, but no, they nickel-and-dime you for "extras" on top of what you already paid for. It felt like a bait-and-switch at every turn. The only thing this event had going for it was a decent stage show — and honestly, that's the bare minimum you'd expect, not something worth paying for on its own. Skip this one entirely. It's an overpriced, underdelivered mess that trades on the "Luau" name while gutting everything that actually makes a luau worth attending. You'll leave hungry, annoyed, and significantly poorer.
Way too crowded. Couldn't see what was happening on the stage without standing up in the back. The "free" drinks were extremely limited selection - ended up paying $33 for 3 non-alcoholic drinks that weren't included in the choices. The food was mediocre and cold (I had the chicken which was overcooked and tough). I'm not a 'sweets' person, but I noticed the dessert was a 1" by 1" piece of chocolate cake. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is for the entertainment, which was 'just ok'. The Haka performance was the best part of the show and it was beautifully done.
Really appreciated that there was a pick-up option- location was central and I felt comfortable walking to/from. The Luau itself was fun, exciting, educational, and of appropriate length. Also, enjoyed the Mai Tai drink ticket!
