NYC Graffiti Workshop a Bushwick

What a unique experience! I always wondered what I was like to graffiti but was too much of a polite teenager to get into it, this was a super fun way to live out some early rebellious dreams! It’s much harder than it looks, but our teacher was really helpful and chill. Luckily the day cleared up, it was fun to do part of the activity outside and the rest indoors. Large bodysuits were provided so as to not mess up clothes. Overall a very fun, out of the ordinary activity to try out. Special shoutout to our guide Laurene!

We came to New York with a group of high school students and the graffiti workshop in Bushwick was hands down the highlight of the trip! Our graffiti instructor was exceptional — patient, passionate, and incredibly talented. He kept the teenagers engaged from start to finish, which is no easy feat! Each student got to design and paint their own canvas to bring home as a souvenir. It’s the perfect mix of creativity, culture and New York City energy. I highly recommend this workshop for school groups, youth trips, or any family looking for an authentic and memorable experience in Brooklyn!
