This is such a great tour! Lots of points of interest covered over the 4 hours, and any travelling via transport was covered by your ticket fee - great value for money! Nik is a great tour guide and very knowledgable and informative. I would highly recommend this tour!
Nick gave us a warm welcome to Nuremberg. He was very knowledgeable about the city and it's history from medieval times to WW2. Highly recommend this tour!
Dimitri was an excellent tour guide showing highlights of the area. It is a lot of walking on cobblestone streets so wear comfortable shoes.
Thanks for your 5-star review! And good advice about the comfortable shoes, it is a walking tour.
Be prepared to walk, though not strenuously. There is a lot of ground to cover both the history and physical walking.
We highly recommend the Nuremberg Old Town and Nazi Rally Grounds tour. We met our excellent guide, Hannes, at the Munich train station upon arrival from Frankfurt for the two part tour. In the morning, we toured the Old Town, which was originally a walled town divided by the Pegnitz River. We stopped at the Town Hall, Town Square with the Schöner Brunnen (Beautiful Fountain) and Church of Our Lady. We then walked up to the Castle at the top of the hill. We had a quick lunch at Bratwursthausle, home of the small Nuremberg Bratwursts, which were excellent as was the Franconia red bier. After lunch, we headed to the Nazi Rally grounds via bus. This part of the tour was somber and sobering as Hannes walked us past the Hall of Honor, parade grounds and Congress building while sharing the history and heinous acts of the Nazi regime. He shared that in the 1970’s mandatory education about this period became mandatory in German schools, so that future generations never forget. This was a comprehensive sightseeing and history tour, which should not be missed.
Thanks for recommending us and very glad that you enjoyed our tour!

Dimitri was very Knowlegable about the history of Nuremberg. Despite the challenging situation of a march at the meeting point for the bus he worked around and got us to the Rally Grounds. Cheers Dimitri
