This was a very enjoyable all-day excursion. You get to experience the Falls from both sides of the Zambia / Zimbabwe border. The guides, Brian (Zamb) and Trevor (Zimb) take great care of you. Both are knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. The pick-ups at your hotel are arranged beforehand via Viator chat function / email. We started on Zamb side for a walking tour, then swapped over to Zimb side via the border bridge crossing for a walking tour from that side. Brian and Trevor ensure the border transfer is very smooth - you are in safe pairs of hands. During the walking tours, both guides are very informative and plenty of time is allowed for photos etc. We then had our helicopter tour, another amazing experience and after that lunch at the Lookout Cafe (this is a very nice, casual bar and restaurant) - it has great views of the bridge crossing, you can even see people ziplining!! We then went back to Zambia side, with the opportunity for a little souvenir shopping before being dropped off at our hotel. It was my wife's birthday, and whilst we only mentioned this in the morning, Brian and Trevor organised impromptu gestures - a welcome birthday tribal dance on Zimb side, the helicopter staff also performed a birthday song, as did the Lookout staff, along with special birthday dessert. All was unexpected, but just added to the day, really appreciated by us. This combo tour may appear expensive to some, but it was ideal for us - it combined everything we wanted to do in one day. Any excursion which includes a helicopter is naturally going to come at a cost - we felt it was all worth it. Brian and Trevor really do add to the tour, they do a great job. Make sure you have your passports, ideally with your KAZA visas already bought and US dollars also - all is explained during the booking process. Be prepared to get very wet during the walking tours - you can simply hire ponchos for a few pounds and return at end of the day, but getting wet is all part of the fun. And you dry out very quickly also!! Enjoy!!
Thank you Dave for booking with us and sharing the lovely day with our community here. Nice Birthday videos were shared with the office staff, very nice and incredible. Thank you for booking the assorted package, especially for Aeriel to view additional experience on the normal Livingstone Zambia and Zimbabwe Combo Tour.Thank you for booking with us.
