L'inseguimento all'aurora boreale dura tipicamente tra le 5 e le 8 ore. La durata esatta dipende da diversi fattori, tra cui le condizioni meteorologiche, la copertura nuvolosa e quanto lontano dobbiamo guidare per trovare cieli limpidi e aumentare le nostre possibilità di vedere l'aurora. Alcune notti siamo fortunati e troviamo un ottimo posto presto, mentre altre notti richiedono un viaggio più lungo - ma ci impegniamo a darti la migliore opportunità possibile per assistere a questa meraviglia naturale.

Benjamin was the best guide you could ask for. His aurora knowledge and enthusiasm was outstanding! He maneuvered us a few times to get away from the clouds, kept an eye out for activity and we hit the jackpot. I strongly recommend Benjamin and Legendary Adventures. They were committed to finding the lights for us!
Great tour. We were taken out of Tromsø for a campfire with sausages and hot chocolate. Unfortunately we did not see the Northern Lights on this occasion but we had a very fun night! Halvar was a great and informative guide. Thank you Halvar!
We visited Tromso on a crusise ship stop on 09/29. Although the date was a little early in the season, Hanne put together a tour for us. We ended up with three vans and 18 guests. It was raining in Tromso, but our guides took us out of town to a nice spot with clear skies, close to Finland. They had warm suits, a campfire with sausages, plus hot drinks. This is the Norwegian experiment while waiting for the lights. We heard stories about the Sami Culture and spotted lights. All three guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. We saw snow on our way back to Tromso. Truly a legendary adventure. Dress in layers, bring hats, gloves, scarfs, and of course patience. I would practice with your phone on night settings before going out. We got some great pics.
We signed up for the light chase experience following a positive experience we had separately with this company. HOWEVER, this light chase experience turned out to be very upsetting and disappointing unfortunately. While it was no fault of the company that the viewing conditions of the northern lights were not the most optimal, we were not satisfied with how the company had organised this light chase experience. The light chase started at 7 p.m. and we were brought to a location with the 'highest-viewing probability' after driving for about 1.5 – 2 hours. Apart from us, there was another group on this same tour and they had to reach the city center before 12 a.m. As a result, after reaching the location at about 9 p.m., we only had about an hour to wait for the northern lights to appear. We had a glimpse of weak lights (through our phone cameras), and had to leave for the city center shortly after at about 10 p.m. We were reluctant to leave so soon, especially after seeing more tour groups joining us at the same location and starting the wait. We reached the city center at about 11.45 p.m. We were very upset as we were not informed prior that there were time constraints for our tour. If we have been informed previously, we would have reconsidered before signing up for this tour. While the staff did share that even if we were to wait longer, the chances of seeing the northern lights were low due to the cloud situations, we were still disappointed at how short the time we had waiting for the lights to appear. We ended the tour feeling that our chances were reduced not due to the weather conditions, but because of controllable factors. We also felt that the money we had paid for the tour did not commensurate with the services provided. For information, this tour did not include photo-taking services – it was something we only realised after signing up for the tour. The staff did not have a professional camera and tripod, and photos were only taken using our phone cameras. Thought to call this out, as we might have missed this point before signing up for the tour.
Hi Amelia with friends, First of all, we are very sorry to hear that you feel this way after a trip with us. This is something we feel very strongly about and I have already met with all staff and guides. I've tried to reach out to you directly to ask if there is anything I could do for you, without getting a response or an answer from you. I find that sad. We would like to offer you a real apology from our side, directly. Having said that, I'm also a little disappointed that you didn't contact me directly and tell me how you felt. After I took you on a snowshoe hike earlier in the day and drove you home to your private address to be extra nice and gave you a discount to join us on the northern lights tour with us in the evening since you wanted to see the northern lights. We also picked you up at your private address and delivered you after the Northern Lights trip to your private address, even if you lived a good distance away from the pick-up location, without asking for anything extra for it. The conditions were absolutely right to see the northern lights and Steffen (the guide) was ready to wait for the light to shine for you. What we were unfortunately not aware of in advance was that the other group that was on the tour was going to catch a boat leaving at midnight. This of course ruined the possibility of waiting longer. As I understand it, this is why you feel the way you do. And we understand that very well. If you had come to me directly with this, which I feel you could certainly do since we had good contact on WhatsApp before and even after the trip. Then I would have offered you a free trip without hesitation the next day! I also find this sad, as I am always here for you and wish you all the best! We cannot be privy to how you feel after a trip with us. We are a small company with local roots that focus on professionalism and customer service and work every day to deliver good experiences to our guests. Since we started the company in 2018, we have never received anything but 4 and 5-star feedback. Getting 1-star feedback is far from our level! I've been thinking a lot since you left your feedback. This is something that will make us even more focused on delivering good experiences. That way I can live with such feedback! In every other way, I as a manager and we as a company must ensure that this is something we must try to avoid at all costs.
