This was the very first tour I did when visiting Boston, and it turned out an excellent way to get started! Adam is a great and engaging guide who cares a lot about the group having a good time on his tour. As a first time visitor, I personally had no clue about Boston's history and the north ends' deep Italian heritage, and this was a very fun way to learn about what makes this part of the city special and unique, and taste it too.
We had a most enjoyable day on the North End Food Tour with Adam! He is friendly, knowledgeable and a lot of fun to be with! It was a great time!
Adam was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great time and learned some more history. Never know about the molasses flood!
This was a wonderful North End experience. Adam was extremely knowledgeable and prepared. The food was also tremendous.
Fun evening doing a taste tour of the North End. Adam was informative and engaging and provided a nice selection of North End specialties. He did an excellent job discussing the history of the neighborhood. As locals, we really appreciated him introducing us to some new spots.
Very good food tour with a lot of history and food/bar recommendations. Expect to be full when it is over!!
Wonderful destinations and food options. The guide was knowledgeable of the local history and willing to share stories. More time to explore and shop stops would be great. It would be beneficial if our guide was willing to adapt to our needs instead of adhering to a rehearsed script because when he was disrupted with city distractions or with his guests he was easily flustered. Overall we were pleased with the performance and enjoyed the north end of Boston for all it offered. Regards
The walking tour captures great history events - some that you might know and other non well known facts while you enjoy the delicious cuisine of the North End.
We were a private group of 9 for team building and booked a few weeks in advance with Adam over email. He was super responsive and accommodating to food preferences & allergies. Adam is cheerful and his enthusiasm for showing us the North End and having us try some of his favorite foods is wonderful. His zeal for the North end food and knowledge created a fun atmosphere. We had a great time eating wonderful food, walking through the North End, and hearing history tidbits that may or may not have been taught in school. The food selection was amazing and looks exactly like what is on the website. Adam got separate items for those who can't eat particular foods that were planned. Everything including the separate items were very, very good. Plan for lots of walking on narrow, uneven, and also cobblestone streets. The tour was 3 full hours. There were two stops with bathroom breaks - towards the beginning and the end. Our tour was on a very hot, very sunny, July day and Adam provided cold bottles of water for those who didn't bring their own. Overall feedback from the team was that it was a great tour and a fun way to spend a summer Friday afternoon.
Adam was a great tour guide! The tour focused on the North end and we enjoyed the stops, history and various tasting. The cannoli was so good!! Everything was tasty!
