What an awesome tour Bobby does! The pizza and pasta was excellent! Bobby was always thoughtful and made sure if we couldn’t drink or eat something he got it adjusted for us! It was a hot day so the Lemon Ice was perfect! We tried EVOO and balsamic vinegar along with a yummy Italian sandwich! The rice balls were warm and tasty! We had cannolis at Mikes pastry! The history we learned about was even better than the food. Bobby grew up locally and I loved as we walked everyone knew him and said hi! I’m so glad I did this food tour and learned so much about Boston!! Loved it!!

Bobby speaks with passion as a son of the neighborhood. He was greeted by old friends in passing twice during the tour. Half the people in our tour group were Boston area locals, Bobby has such a good reputation. History and personal stories complimented the shop/restaurant stops. The food sampled is substantial at many of the stops, whereas a couple others are merely tastings. Rest assured you will not go home hungry. For decades my wife and I have heard Italian-Americans refer enthusiastically and fondly to cannolis, but we never really got it, that is until the cannolis served at the end of Bobby’s tour, which were out of this world. This tour was a great experience.
Fantastic food, drinks, desserts and history of the north end! We were contacted before the tour to reschedule because it was going to be hot during our tour! Very thoughtful! This tour is a must!
The most authentic food tour and neighborhood history lesson! Bobby did an amazing job and gave us a tour of the North End as only someone who lived its rich history could have. Don’t skip the Limoncello or the Lemon slush. I’d tell you where, but you have to learn the story from Bobby. Too bad you can no longer tap the quarters, that’s all I’ll say. If you are going or have already been to Boston, you have or will dine in the North End! May as well learn a little something and find the best spots to nosh all in one tour. Being a chef and foodservice professional for 25+ years, this is probably the most authentic food tours I have ever been on! Thanks Again Bobby!

The food tour was fantastic. We really liked our tour guide and his first hand knowledge of the North End.
Guide was well informed. His personal story telling explained the history of the neighborhood, restaurants and businesses we visited. All the foods tasted were amazing. He seemed well respected and well known in his neighborhood which contributed to the experience. Overall he was attentive to the needs of the whole group.

Best food tour in Boston! I’ve done this tour twice because I enjoyed it so much the first time and wanted to take some friends to it! Nothing like experiencing the North End through someone who’s lived there all his life and walks you through the stories and families of the neighborhood sharing personal experiences! And this is all before mentioning the food! He takes you to the original family owned places and gives you tastes of pizza, pasta, oils, cookies, deli sandwiches, cannolis and more! (Not just tastes, lots of food!)! Come hungry - everything is delicious and Bobby is an amazing guide!
