I love progressive dinners. Especially ones that share the food and history. Beautiful settings and beautiful people.
Progressive dinner entree and main meal was disgusting. The dessert was amazing. Not good value for money. Would not recommend.

Was a beautiful experience. to meet the locals in their own homes and to be served delicious meals. The main course was just a little rushed but was good listening to the home owner and his information he shared.

Well worth doing - we had a great time meeting other travellers and locals. We really enjoyed the food, which was of a high standard. The bus driver/ waiter was a hoot.

Enjoyed the stories from people living on the island, some descendants from the Pitcairns. The first two courses were good, while desert was rather ordinary. Company and hosts were fine. All up, enjoyed nig h t and would recommend.

Excellent evening with lovely hosts. Food was delicious too. We’ve never done a travel experience like this before…….
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. I'm really happy to hear you enjoyed the evening!
It was quite good, however the food was exceptionally average for the cost. First stop was store bought and reheated finger food. One guest asked if the relish on the corn fritter was a family recipe and the answer was “no, it’s a Masterfood jar”. Right. The group was far, far too big, I would say over 40 people. There is nothing to drink except a tiny glass of sherry at stop one, and a tiny glass of wine at stop two. Stop 3 is tea and coffee however we were so jam packed into the tables and chairs I was unable to get out to go get it, without disturbing other guests. It would be good to have at least drinking water provided on tables. The main course was a bland pork roast and strange sides that seemed like they’d run short of food at the last minute so cracked a few tins open to stretch the food out. The dessert was a Sara Lee like set cheesecake. The night was okay, but like a lot of the tours we did, capitalizing on a captive audience rather than providing an exceptional experience. The hosts were quite friendly.
Thank you for your review. I will pass your feedback along to our homes, as normally the food is great! It is advertised that you are welcome to BYO drinks as there is only one glass served with each dish. There is normally water available as well, so I will check up on this. Thank you for taking the time to write your review.
