Cerchi un tour a piedi unico a Bergen che ti allontani dalle zone affollate e affollate di Bryggen e dal mercato del pesce? Scopri uno dei segreti meglio custoditi della città con questo tour a piedi della penisola di Nordnes. Nordnes è una penisola lunga 1 km che si estende nel porto di Bergen. Mentre la Lega Anseatica dominava il commercio a Bryggen, Nordnes è il luogo in cui i mercanti norvegesi sviluppavano le loro attività. Ma Nordnes era anche il centro del potere di Bergen, nonché il tribunale e il luogo delle esecuzioni della città per centinaia di anni. È anche il luogo in cui venivano bruciate le streghe nel XVI e XVII secolo. Nel 19° secolo divenne un centro di marinai e un quartiere a luci rosse, con i vicoli stretti e bui il luogo perfetto per nascondere attività sotto copertura. Itinerario
Passeggiamo lungo Strandgaten, la storica strada principale dei mercanti norvegesi. Ma non cammineremo semplicemente quaggiù: vireremo fuori dai sentieri battuti per alcune viste uniche di Bergen.
Ci fermiamo fuori Nykirken, la chiesa costruita per i mercanti nel XVII secolo. Edvard Grieg fu battezzato qui. Ma parleremo anche della Residenza Arcivescovile che un tempo si trovava lì.
Dopo aver percorso alcune strade segrete di Nordnes (dovrai fare il tour per conoscerle!), finiamo a metà strada, il Nordnes Park.
Mentre torniamo in città, entriamo in uno dei quartieri meglio conservati di Bergen. Qui vedremo la casa della cultura e dintorni.
Ci fermiamo davanti a quella che è stata votata la strada più bella di Bergen.
Per l'ultima parte del tour, ci dirigiamo nel quartiere ben conservato dei marinai di Nostet.

We did this self-guided tour late in the evening. What a magnificent discovery. It was a fabulous route through these narrow streets with colorful facades. An indelible memory.
We had an amazing time on this tour! It was incredibly informative, but also fun and engaging. Our guide RIGMOR kept us focused the whole time with great storytelling, a wonderful sense of humour, and lots of interesting facts about Bergen. We also really appreciated all the local recommendations for restaurants and cafés, which made the rest of our visit even better. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bergen. It was one of the highlights of our trip!
Nicholas, What an amazing tour of Bergen! Perfect choice for our first few hours in the city. Our guide gave us some great stories to understand the city’s past and present. This was an excellent tour hosted by our guide Dane, who lives in the area so he was able to give us the full benefit of his local knowledge. He was enthusiastic, knowlegable and open to any questions we had. As the title says this area is a hidden gem, with so many lovely old streets and a lovely headland, very much worth a visit. Dane had many interesting stories about the history of this area. We had been in Bergen before so had seen the main sites of Bryggen etc, so it was good to be able to hear some more about a less visited but still very interesting part of Bergen. We would highly reccommend giving this area a look as it is just as interesting and less busy than the usual Bryggen area. We were especially pleased that they ran the tour for us as the two of us were the only ones on the walk, many other tours would have been cancelled if a minimum wasn't reached, so this was good customer service from I love Bergn.

I enjoy strolling through parts of a city I'm visiting, so this was a welcome activity. Nordnes has some gorgeous streets that are worth wandering down, and Magda was an excellent tour guide with clear passion for the area. As I had done one other tour from this same company, she was able to skip over stories that I had already heard, so it felt like a more personal tour. Would recommend if you fancy taking in a quieter part of the city.
