Capt Brian was super knowledgeable about Lake Tahoe. Not only did we have a great time, we learned a lot. It brought back so many memories of being a kid in my dad’s boat and I’m thankful my family got to experience that feeling. We will definitely do it again.
Captain Jared was fantastic. He shared a lot of history and information about Lake Tahoe. The boat was nice and we had perfect weather too!
We had a great trip with Captain Bryan on his beautiful red boat. Even though the water was a little choppy, we made the most of it and had a fantastic time. Bryan is incredibly knowledgeable about the lake’s history, and we really enjoyed learning from him. We were able to swim in Emerald Bay—the water was brisk, but absolutely beautiful. Camp Richardson, where we met Bryan, was lively and full of energy, with a live band, great entertainment, and cold rum runners (be sure to get a floater on top!).
Bryan is an excellent captain with deep expertise and knowledge about the lake and surrounding area. He made us feel welcome and comfortable in the boat. Definitely would recommend the experience!

Bryan is the most amazing Captain! Super laid back and very knowledgeable about the lake and its history. The boat is so comfortable and easy to get in and out of. Plus it’s just a super cool boat! I would recommend and do this tour over again myself! My two sons got to jump in and we saw bald eagles and osprey! Just an all around great trip!
I definitely recommend this for anyone. We had a group of 6 so a larger boat called "white lightning" was used. Everyone loved the experience. No need for special attire unless you want to swim or climb at one of the bays.
We had such a great trip with Bryan. He was incredibly accommodating (invited our small pooch Archie aboard with enthusiasm), friendly, capable and knowledgable. From geology to the Washoe Tribe to modern history to celebrity homes, Bryan has to be one of the true experts on the spectacularly gorgeous Lake Tahoe. His Mariah boat is comfortable and beautiful. We’ll be back very soon!
