Great places and tour, average guide

The trip is good overall in terms of the places shown. The gorge is lovely, so are the lavender fields and villages but our guide, Adam was in such a hurry to end the trip right from the start. This included picking us up earlier than he had said and creating a sense of urgency throughout that wasn't required. He forced us to make a choice between spending time at Moustier St. Marie or boating on the gorge. In fact, both parts could easily have been accommodated as both are worth doing. If you go, make sure you all tell him to divide time between both and not skip the boating like we did.

Lavender in June

Christian kindly arranged to collect us from Beaulieu Sur Mer which was a real help as my friend has restricted mobility and dropped us off in Nice on our return. The Verdon Gorge was a spectacle. We thought we could have had more information on the villages where we stopped. We were not blown way by a field of lavender We’ve experienced a better display of varieties in Norfolk, England with the manufacture process and shop.

Beautiful ride, countryside & villages

This was a beautiful and relaxing day while visiting the French Riviera. The ride through the Alps, villages and countryside was breathtaking. I loved every stop. First was a stop to see waterfalls, then a small village by a river (Verdon gorges) where I had a yummy snack at the 'Artisan Boulanger' bakery, then photo stop of a huge lake with cliffs and turquoise water, then a stop at Moustiers-Saint-Marie village which was gorgeous with many little streets, cafes & shops a lot cheaper than in Nice (all towns by the ocean) so I bought great souvenirs and had the best almond croissant of my life, then we stopped at a lavender field which were in full bloom, and last a stop to see the lake from another angle. Our driver/guide was on-time picking me up at the hotel and we were 5 people in a comfortable van. I recommend this tour 100%.

Beautiful Views

I had an amazing day excursion with Clinton as our guide. We got to see the beautiful gorges of verdon which is why I booked this tour. The colour of the water was just unbelievable. Clinton provided history facts along the way and was an amazing driver in the twisty roads.

A scam

First of all pls remove all those images that has been displayed on the trip ad....totally misleading They have displayed some really vast lavender fields and took us to a small field which was nowhere near big Secondly every place we were asked to rush and see whatever we had to do in 5 to 10 mins except for lunch in the cute little village of Moustiers The driver cum guide Marek was the worst I have ever seen .....unfriendly unapproachable Can barely speak a few words of English And the tour says "English speaking Guide" Fine if he can't speak the language least he could do was be a bit pleasant and friendly A big scam....worst experience ever except that Verdon Gorge and Moustiers village is pretty The trip said 10 hrs we were back in 9 hrs obviously bcoz we barely got to spend any time anywhere Highly disappointed

RUN AWAY

Horrible experience for the lavander plus gorges or verdon tour. I had booked direct months in advance and they never got back to any emails for months when I wanted to confirm our pickup location. When they did get back I had tried email as well as 3 seperate numbers until someone picked up via what’s app text. Then the day before our trip I get a call at 6pm saying that the tour can not happen tomorrow and if we are free any other day this week. Thankfully we had flexibility the next day. We confirm pickup for 7:50 the next day and we set our alarms accordingly. The morning off as we are getting ready I am getting a call at 7:20 that the driver is here and rushing us “saying let’s go others are waiting.” We rush getting ready and rushing downstairs and the driver is passive aggressive that he texted us that he changed the pickup order at 6:30 AM and to be ready at 7:20 not 7:50. And that we did not plan accordingly. For one we were not awake and that is not sufficient time to notify and and you would think they would be more considerate considering our tour got moved last minute. Not sure how we’re were expected to just be up and awake see this message and adjust getting ready by 30 minutes. We go to pick up the next couple and they also had the same issue. The driver is illegally parked and yelling at another couple to hurry and get ready and that we are holding up others. I am most disappointed in the unprofessionalism of the tour but also the lack of organization and communication. For the tour itself the villages and all the sites were amazing but it was once again ruined by the driver who was clearly trying to rush us. The first site was a village that we were told was super cute but we were told we only had 20 minutes because “there’s not much here just a church and two options for coffee and a bakery”. There were plenty of shops we didn’t get to see as well as a line for the blulangeries. 20 minutes to go to a bakery explore a town as well as use the restroom was extremely rushed and we could not appreciate the town. Then for the lavender part which we were most looking forward to. When we got to the site we maybe spent 10-15 minutes taking photos before being told let’s go. Considering this is one of the things in the name of the tour, and we were lucky enough to book during one of the few times it’s in bloom, and that the websites advertise 30 minutes total we felt rushed and cheated out of the perfect photo. Lastly for the gorges of verdon part it was generally the same story rushed photos the driver rushing us instead of offering to take pictures or give and historical background. The only part we had ample time was the last village we visited. To top it all off we felt unsafe with the driver/tourguides driving. As an agressive fast driver myself holy crap. I have driven and been around the world and had drivers or driven in over 12 different countries. Never in my life have I seen someone honk their horn at anything with a pulse. We entered the highway for maybe two exits during the drop off this many gets on the high way honks at people In The right lane. Then proceeds to swerve between the far left lane to the middle and back to the left and all the way to the right all to pass maybe 5 cars and get to the exits sooner. At the exit he takes the right turn lane and cuts off an entire line of cars into the left turn lane. It was very clear during pick up and drop off the tour guide wanted to end early and do what was convenient for him. To top it all off he was texting and driving almost the entire time. Lastly the driver/guide had a lack of decorum and manners. It’s one thing if there is a language barrier with English being not his first language. But it’s another thing to ask us where are we from(we are filipino) and before we could answer say Singapore right?! There was no other Asians or south East Asians on our tour he literally just picked the first Asian country that came to mind. On top of that he referred to the people in the car as lady from x country. Lady from y country, other lady from x country . For a tour guide you would think he could remember names for a day or atleast come up with better pronouns. We ended the tour an hour earlier then the advertised 10 hours and the whole itinerary felt rushed. On top of having a driver who could clearly care less and made us feel unsafe with the most questionable driving I have ever seen on top of the overall disorganization it completely dampened what was suppose to be an amazing experience. Luckily the village and the sites were awesome but my god the tour not only needs an updated itinerary to be more efficient or atleast make it longer and charge more. We basically paid for someone to drive for 6-7 hours and had maybe 2-3 hours rushed within 4-5 different sites.

Cancellation with little communication

Guide informed me evening before in broken incoherent text that tour was cancelled due to road closure. Guide was not available to confirm the cancellation the day of the tour. Still waiting for refund and response from guide more than 24 hours later.
