Armand was waiting for us at the Hotel as we walked out. Very friendly and polite. Clean car and comfortable. Headed up the hills of Nice and showed us where Elton John has a vacation villa. Then headed to Eze. The most adorable city on the hillside. It's from the 900's. Then on to Monaco and Monte Carlo. We had pleanty of time to explore Eze and MonteCarlo. Much cheaper than a Viking excursion and it was just the us and another couple.

Me and my family enjoyed our half-day tour of Monaco and Eze with Arman. He was extremely friendly and professional and it gave us plenty of time to see all the sights. Highly recommend.
So we had an excellent (5 star experience) going to Monaco. Our driver was terrific. Exactly on time. We had a great experience going along the Grande Corniche to Monaco. The trouble began after our lunch. We had understood the driver to be around a park and we would signal him when we were ready via what’s app. None of that worked at all and we could not find the driver for over an hour and a half. And it felt like a scam when he mentioned it would be an additional 90 euros for waiting. I’m not sure what went wrong but by the time we finally connected, I was soaked in sweat, my foot was cut, my husband was out of energy and had severe trouble walking back to the van. Many what’s app calls and texts went unanswered. It may have been cell phone service/coverage only being available near the casino. We made it back, but it marred the trip. Lesson Learned: have an exact time and location to meet up with your driver. Had this not happened, I would have given 5 stars.

We are sorry about the misunderstanding in Monaco. Unfortunately, it appears that mobile coverage caused communication difficulties while you and your driver were trying to locate each other. Your driver remained in Monaco and was also trying to reach you, so he certainly did not intend to leave or abandon you. We would also like to clarify one point regarding the €90 mentioned in your review. This was not a charge for waiting. Your scheduled tour time was coming to an end, and the driver simply informed you that, should you wish to extend the tour, additional time was available at €90 per hour. We are nevertheless sorry that this misunderstanding affected the end of an otherwise excellent experience, and we appreciate your feedback regarding establishing an exact meeting point and time.
Our driver was very patient when we had a 49 min delay getting off the ship. He then told us that he would just extend our time to meet our 5 hour tour. The price was well over half what the ship excursion offered for the same trip!! Our car was 1st class, our driver was wonderful! When he picked us up he asked what we wanted to do… I told him I wasn’t knowledgeable about the area, but we wanted to see some of the Monaco F1 race, Nice, and then what he would want to see if he was on a tour. He accepted the challenge and gave us a tour of the lifetime!! We had sooo much fun and had a front row knowledge tour of the area!!

We had a wonderful day thanks to our driver Arman! He took us to beautiful places in Nice, Eze and Monaco. Arman met us at our cruise port and made sure we were back in plenty of time before our ship left port. Take you passport on this trip and Arman can show you where to get a Monaco stamp! One of the best tours we’ve booked through Viator. Well worth it and absolutely a must do if you happen to be in the region. Nad not only took us to see the highlights of Monaco and Eze but shared some hidden gems along the way. Very pleasant driving and very accommodating to whatever we wanted to do.
