A lot of walking but worth it to learn about the history of the falls. Directions to the desk to begin the tour needed to be clearer. Ben did a great job as our guide!
This was an excellent tour. Our tour guide Mateen was very knowledgeable about the falls and took great care to take the time to explain things to us. He seemed to spend time talking with each of the families individually and making sure we knew what we were to do and where to go. Very professional and personable.
The guide was knowledgeable and very likable. Ryan was the best. The tour was great fun. The falls are incredible.

Excellent from start to finish. Entire experience was around 4hrs if you include the queues. Benjamin was a great guide and its definitely worth booking as you get to jump the lines in the height of Summer.
My family and I had a wonderful experience on this tour. Our driver, Oscar, was friendly, knowledgeable, kind, accommodating and patient. He took care to make sure we were safe, and in the right place and the right time, gave us a wealth of info about everything we saw and answered our many questions patiently. If we ever return, we will definitely request Oscar.
Get a true guide if you can. Our guide name was Kingsley. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He gave the history of the falls.
Was a long walk of boring facts that I couldn’t even hear half of and not much to see until we got in line for behind the falls and the boat ride. The tour guide was nice but seemed very unorganized and not very entertaining or engaging. Our tickets didn’t work for behind the falls and guide had to dig through a bunch of tickets until he found some that worked. We didn’t skip any lines as advertised. It would’ve been better to go see the falls on our own and the behind the falls and boat ride on our own. We didn’t spend hardly any time by the actual falls and up close to them. We ended up going on a different day to stop and enjoy them and get close for pics. We only stuck it out because we had already paid for the tour and the boat ride was at the very end. Another huge complaint was that we were not told that we had to find our way back to Skylon Tower on our own. After 4 hours, we didn’t want to hike all the way back not knowing where we were going. So we ended up calling an Uber to take us back to our car. I would suggest doing it all on your own.
We booked this tour from Toronto and I can highly recommend it to anyone—it is an absolute must-do if you are in the area. Departure was at 7:00 AM, and since our tour started at 9:30 AM, we arrived with plenty of time to spare. A 7:30 AM departure would have been enough, but starting earlier makes sense as a buffer against Toronto's traffic. It rained on the day of our visit, which turned out to be a great bonus because there were far fewer crowds than usual. The itinerary was excellent: a walk around the falls viewing both the Canadian and American sides, the Journey Behind the Falls, and the iconic boat cruise right up to the rushing water. Getting soaked from every angle on the boat was an amazing experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. At first, I considered renting a car and doing the trip on my own, but opting for the organized tour was completely stress-free, plus we learned a lot of fascinating facts and history about the falls from our guide.
