The guide was sweet but nearly impossible to understand. His voice was mumbled and accent was really hard so didn’t hear any of the narration. Just something to be mindful of. Maybe if the New England accent is common for you it’s ok. But I am American from Midwest and couldn’t follow.
Wonderful experience! Our tour guide/driver Ray was fantastic! He is a local born in Newport and sprinkled his very informative tour with personal antidotes as well as info about the Gilded Age tv show. The 3 hours passed quickly; there was plenty of time to tour the Breakers mansion. Definitely recommend the tour and Ray!
This was a great tour. The ride was comfortable. The scenery is beautiful. The driver was knowledgeable. I recommend this tour.
It was interesting to learn about the area and the people that live (& lived) here. However, many houses were private and only a peekaboo view was available.
Very nice historical tour of Newport and we had plenty of time to tour the Breakers Mansion and the grounds.
The tour was great, and our tour guide was wonderful overall although at times he sounded muffled so it hard to truly hear clearly what he was saying.

Super interesting information was shared by our guide. The breakers was beautiful although part was under renovation but all of the docents in the house very kind and helpful. It was an excellent experience that I would recommend.
The tour was so scenic and informative. Our tour guide was a Newport native, and it was great to hear his personal connections to the area as well as the fun historical facts. Newport itself is a gorgeous town, and the tour was the best way to see it all very efficiently!
