The riverboat is a must do if you are in New Orleans. This trip is a low cost way to do it. There is a lot of lore and intrigue about riverboats so that’s why I went. It was a hot afternoon and many people have to load on the boat. I would say getting on the boat could be more efficient and faster. I wish there was a bigger covered area while you wait. The only food and drink is what you bring or buy. I suggest you bring whatever you need. The lines are long to get refreshments. The seating is adequate. If I were to do it over, I would spend more money and do the boat that has music.
Carol, we regret that the weather made the wait less enjoyable. It is always our intention to make our guests as comfortable as possible.
This was my first time touring on the river and this was this was so interesting I loved the band on board and the calliope was such an incredible musical background to the night. I would absolutely do this again…maybe with out the dinner

My husband and I went to enjoy the sites and sounds of New Orleans from a different view! I've been to the city 5 times and he had never been! 1st time on a steamboat for us both! So happy we came. If you have time to cruise along the great Mississippi River and love knowing about the history, then this would be a great experience for you and your family!💯🙌🏾⚜️❤️⚜️

The 75 minute tour was really nice. It was very informative. The views are amazing and you get to know the history about the place and the people. There’s a bar for drinks as well. Tip: Before you board ensure that you have your tickets printed or on your digital wallet to save time.

It was as boring as I expected so I wasn't disappointed. Best part is coming around the bend on your way back with the city as a backdrop. Very friendly folks. Wife seemed to enjoy it which is what matters.

Though everything was done perfectly by the crew, the cruise itself didn’t hold our interest. Hop on hop off bus tour gives a better view of the city and still see the river.
The river cruise shows the city from another angle than a tour bus or walking tour. Thank you for sailing on today's Mississippi River. Today the Riverboat sails through the international Port of New Orleans, which supplies goods and services from around the world to the middle, and outreaches, of middle America.
Published time not necessarily the actual time. They include a half hour of boarding, which then makes the return later than expected. I found it sort of misleading and it caused us to nearly miss reservations at another event that we planned based on the published time of the cruise. Made things rather stressful so diminished my enjoyment.
Although we are not certain which site you visited for your tickets,and we regret it was not clear for your planning. We always post on our company site that we allow boarding for a half hour, and then cruise for the 75minutes.
