The Castle was awesome and the surrounding scenery and town added to the charm of this place. It is well worth the money and time. Our tour guide Nick was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the castle.

Amazing experience. Great value for the price. It was really easy to find the meetup spot, and the bus trip to the castle was shorter than expected and very entertaining, as Jeremy (our guide) was knowledgeable and told entertaining stories about the castle and the history of Ludvig II. Experiencing the castle was also wonderful. We got some time to explore for ourself, and also the guided tour of the castle's insides. There were plenty of cafes and restaurants for a snack or a meal. We were also blessed with nice weather, and it made the whole experience more magical. 10/10 experience, would book again if I come back to Munich.

It would be a great experience if you’ve never seen the castle before. If you have, not sure it’s worth the long ride. Disappointing that there were no bathrooms on the bus for such a long ride.

Leon was an excellent guide. Very entertaining and helpful. Lots of steps and walking, but it was worth it to see the inside of the castle. The only thing I wish I had done differently would have been to bring a picnic to eat next to the lake, the food options in town were limited.

Our tour guide was very informative and funny. I would highly recommend doing it this way if you are staying in Munich, otherwise book a hotel near the area. You get plenty of time to see the castles, the majestic landscapes and views that come with it, the bridge overlooking everything, and the most clear lake I've ever seen.
