Itinerario
Inizieremo con un sito di 30 minuti vedendo giro appena fuori città. Passeremo davanti alla Grande Moschea di Negombo e visiteremo l'iconico Tempio Buddista di Angurukaramulla. Più tardi attraverseremo Colombo road e attraverseremo la Main Street per entrare nella Negombo Town. poi gireremo la città alla scoperta dei mercati di strada. Questa è la nostra opportunità per sentire le vibrazioni cittadine di Negombo alias la piccola Roma.
Esploreremo il tratto culturale della Sea Street; guiderai lungo il canale olandese per entrare nella Sea Street. Ci sono poche chiese cattoliche romane di spicco e santuari indù lungo la strada del mare e una comunità che parla per lo più tamil . Possiamo anche visitare il santuario indù. Via del mare è piena di vita! Le bancarelle dei fiori del tempio e i tavoli di frutta con le noci di cocco del tempio sono molto unici.
Visiteremo la magnifica Chiesa di Santa Maria, è una chiesa storica con dipinti sul tetto molto particolari di pittori locali. La chiesa è famosa per i murales e l'imponente architettura coloniale.
Negombo aveva il 03 ° forte più grande durante l'era coloniale. Oggi abbiamo una cinta muraria intatta e una torre di guardia che risale al XVII secolo e la prigione costruita con i mattoni del forte dagli inglesi. Più tardi ne approfitteremo per visitare il mercato pubblico del pesce.
Questa zona è piena del profumo pungente del pesce secco. È una spiaggia attiva con persone impegnate in varie attività di lavorazione. È molto speciale perché è una delle Poche industrie di cottage a Negombo.
Attraverseremo il ponte lagunare per entrare nel villaggio di pescatori. Avremo l'opportunità di assistere a semplici attività di pesca lagunare tra cui la pesca della canna ai ponti. Passeremo 'Lellama'; tutta la vendita mercato del pesce e andremo a visitare la chiesa dei pescatori. C'è anche un luogo di balneazione locale nelle immediate vicinanze; È un luogo divertente per la gente del posto.
Concluderemo il nostro viaggio con una visita a Browns Beach. C'è un parco pubblico sulla spiaggia con carrelli di cibo da spiaggia. La spiaggia è pulita e senza fine verso la zona dell'hotel.

I was picked up on time and warmly welcomed. During the four-hour tour, I saw the whole city, including many churches and both Buddhist and Hindu temples. The absolute highlight was the fish market, especially the area where the fish are dried, the entire process was explained in detail, which was incredibly interesting. The time flew by! My driver, Fernando was very friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. A great, fun, and informative tour, definitely recommended!
I had a lovely half day tuk tuk tour of Negombo. Robin my tour guide took me around in his tuk tuk to all the sites, gave lots of interesting fast and information on the places we visited. Also made some stops along the way to take some help photos. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone to anyone staying in Negombo.
Robin took me all over Negombo, churches, temples, fish markets, an amazing juice bar, tropical fish, a tea shop. Such a good overview. Robin made sure I got across roads etc. A fun half day !
We arrived two days early for a 2-week organized tour of Sri Lanka. We booked the Negombo City Tour by Tuk Tuk tour on Viator as an introduction to Sri Lanka. We were not disappointed. Our guide, Robin picked us up at our hotel. He was on schedule and provided many interesting facts about the churches, temples and markets that we visited. we had a fun-filled 4 hour tour before being dropped off at our hotel door. Highly recommend this tour!

We really enjoyed our tuk tuk tour of Negombo! Our driver Robin was an excellent guide was very knowledgeable,friendly and gave us a better understanding of the local Sri Lanka area. Stopping off at a local shop for a delicious masala chai was definitely a highlight! 😁

Went with Robin Fernando. Has a very clean and tricked out Tuk Tuk with a sound system that he used while driving, great fun. He is very well spoken, informative, with a sense of humor.
I would highly recommend this tour, we were extremely lucky to have Robin as our guide. We were in the best, cleanest & flashest tuk tuk. At every stop people were admiring & taking photos.
