In questo tour per piccoli gruppi visiteremo i resti del campo di concentramento nazista di Vught della Seconda Guerra Mondiale, con le sue torri di guardia ricostruite, le baracche, il crematorio e il memoriale dei bambini. Il campo fu utilizzato tra il gennaio 1943 e l'ottobre 1944 e detenne oltre 31.000 prigionieri ebrei e politici. Durante questa visita verrà messa in risalto l'importanza di questo periodo nella nostra storia recente. Nel sito è incluso un tour audio. La nostra guida turistica rimarrà con il gruppo durante tutta la visita e sarà in grado di rispondere alle vostre domande. Trasporto privato, bevande e snack inclusi.

In questo tour per piccoli gruppi visiteremo i resti del campo di concentramento con le sue torri di guardia ricostruite, caserme, crematori e il monumento ai bambini. Questo impressionante monumento, che si trova in posizione centrale nei campeggi, elenca i nomi e le età dei 1.269 bambini ebrei che furono deportati nel giugno del 1943. Dopo una visita al centro commemorativo e al museo, ci sarà tempo per camminare nell'area dell'esecuzione, situato nei boschi circostanti. Qui è stato eretto un memoriale che mostra i nomi dei prigionieri giustiziati in questo sito.

This was by far one of our favorite excursions. It was very moving and educational. Eva’s personal family story really brought the experience to life. Her story made the ride to Vught go by so fast. Five stars was the max I could give. I would give it a 10 if I could. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone coming to Amsterdam and looking for unique experience.

Beautiful visit to the camp. Instructive and moving. The site is well arranged. The museum offers short testimonies from former detainees.

Our guide was sweet, kind, and an excellent driver, and the site's history is deeply moving. However, the transport van was unbearably hot as the air conditioning only functioned in the front.

Unfortunately we have indeed experienced some fairly un-Dutch hot days this week. The air conditioning should normally be functioning in the whole van, not just in the front.
