In questo tour visiteremo il tempio di Dimitra che è stato costruito nel 530 aC un'antica ceramica nel villaggio di Damala che ancora produce ceramiche tradizionali e poi visiteremo i tre villaggi più belli e famosi di Naxos! Halki che era il centro storico di Naxos, Filoti che è il villaggio più grande e Apeiranthos il villaggio tradizionale fatto di pietra e marmo! **Il Tempio di Demetra è chiuso ogni martedì. Visiterete il frantoio a Kaloxilo per conoscere i metodi tradizionali di produzione dell'olio d'oliva e assaggiare gli oli d'oliva locali.

Luogo archeologico, Il Tempio di Demetra a Naxos: Vicino al villaggio di Sangri, a 10 km dalla città di Naxos, si trova il tempio sacro di Demetra. Questo magnifico tempio è stato realizzato esclusivamente con marmo di Naxos della migliore qualità e risale al VI secolo a.C. Poiché Demetra era la dea dell'Olimpo dell'agricoltura, del raccolto e della fertilità, le persone costruirono templi a lei dedicati su terre fertili, come quella di Sangri.

My wife and I booked this tour 2 months before our stay in Mykonos. Searching for events in Mykonos on Viator, this tour appeared and it looked awesome. We booked it and entered our hotel in Mykonos for the pickup location. At 10:00pm the night before, we received a What’s App message saying that there is a problem with our reservation. The next morning, the tour company explained that they are in Naxos and do not provide transportation to Naxos. And yet our confirmation from Viator clearly shows a pickup from our Mykonos hotel. We are now fighting with Viator to get a refund…

The perfect blend of life in Naxos, culture and history. We enjoyed a variety of stops and didn’t feel rushed. We valued having a guide who could get us safely to our stops on the narrow and winding roads.
Our driver, Manolis, was a local and very knowledgeable. He made a wonderful recommendation for lunch while we were visiting the villages. We ended up booking him for our transport to the port for our departure as well.
This was a wonderful tour. Our guide, Mario, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We learned so much about Naxos and saw so many wonderful areas of the island. I would highly recommend this tour.
This is the must do tour of Naxos island! We had a local, Mario, and he was legendary. Took us to several excellent spots, so much history, and was patient and helpful all along the way. The Pottery was a blast to see, Filoti and Chalki were so beautiful and rich with history. Mario even took us to some churches and gave us some excellent history to think about. Even our teenage daughters had a blast and they still remember this as the most memorable tour of all our 11 days in Greece.
We had the best experience with this tour. Our guide was so knowledgeable and allowed us flexibility and navigated each area well. We felt like we really experienced the island. Highly recommend!!

We had a fantastic tour of Naxos, truly one of the highlights of our trip. Mario was an incredible guide: friendly, knowledgeable, and full of great tips about the island that we never would have discovered on our own. We visited some amazing sites, but the standout was definitely the pottery workshop. We ended up spending way more time there than planned because we loved it so much! Even though we’ve been to Naxos before, we learned and saw so many new things, which made the experience even more special. Overall, a wonderful tour that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting the island.
