La nostra prima tappa è il tempio di Demetra Oltre all'imponente monumento, avrai la possibilità di visitare il museo archeologico. Continuiamo il nostro tour e facciamo la nostra prossima fermata a Damalas, un grazioso paesino nel cuore della valle di Tragea, dove ci godremo una dimostrazione presso l'unico laboratorio di ceramica tradizionale rimasto e il tradizionale frantoio restaurato. Quindi guidiamo verso Chalki, dove puoi passeggiare in pittoreschi vicoli. Quindi ci dirigiamo verso la più antica chiesa bizantina di Panagia Drossiani La nostra prossima tappa è il villaggio più famoso di Naxos, Apiranthos, il "villaggio di marmo". Guidiamo verso la parte nord dell'isola di Naxos e finiamo sul bordo nord di Naxos, nel villaggio di Apollonas, un piccolo villaggio tipico delle Cicladi, ideale per nuotare o semplicemente rilassarsi nei vari caffè in riva al mare. Sulla via del ritorno ci fermiamo all'imponente statua di Kouros e poi torniamo a Chora, seguendo la costa nord-nordoccidentale dell'isola, godendo della vista della torre di Agia e delle isole Cicladi settentrionali.

Il villaggio di Halki a Naxos (o Chalki) si trova nella zona centrale della regione di Tragea, la più grande area di coltivazione dell'olivo delle Cicladi, a 16 km dalla città di Naxos. Halki ha una lunga storia e un tempo era la capitale di Naxos, nonché il suo principale centro amministrativo e commerciale.
Apollonas a Naxos è un grazioso villaggio di pescatori. Prende il nome da Apollo, il dio dell'Olimpo della luce e della musica, ed è abitato fin dall'antichità.
La notevole statua di un Kouros si trova fuori dal villaggio di Melanes, nella campagna di Naxos.

That the tour was exclusively in English, while it was stated to be multilingual. Otherwise, the tour is interesting. However, the first stop that charged us 5 euros was not worth the cost.
A great day out ...well organised and saw a lot of the island Plenty of stops but it all fitted together well
Eric (our knowledgeable tour guide) and Demetrius (our rock star driver) provided us with a fun, uphill and downhill tour of their beautiful island, historical sites, picturesque towns, including visits to a pottery shop, olive oil tastings, and a sandy beach. It was a fantastic day, one of the best on our trip to GREECE. This tour almost did not happen has my husband was sick on our scheduled tour day and Eric so graciously was able to shift our booking to a couple of days later. Without this consideration, we would have left Naxos without seeing the natural beauty of the island and meeting so many lovely people. Thank you Eric and Demitrious for your joy and hospitality. We have so many lovely memories.

Ticket said "pickup at hotel" but we had to go to tour cos. offices and walk down to coach. Nice tour round and information from guide.

The tour guide was very informative. It is unfortunate that the weather did not cooperate as we missed the scenic view on the way back due to rain. A special thanks to the bus driver and his navigational skills on the narrow roads.

I couldn't recommend this tour highly enough! Our guide Vicky and our driver Janus were superb (Vicky for her knowledge and interesting facts and Janus for skillfully navigating the narrow roads of Naxos.) Not only did I learn a lot about the island, but the stops brought us to some breathtaking villages and sights: I'd highly recommend the tour for people on a shorter holiday as you can pack in a lot of sights in a way that'd be much harder to arrange on your own if you didn't have the time. The bus was old and the armrests on our seats were broken. The guide was excellent. The stop for lunch was in a small town with really nothing to do. The lunch break should be in the Town before where there was more to do and better lunch options.

We chose this excursion because it had to have a Guide speaking French. Now the Guide did not speak a word of French. it is clearly a deception about the goods.
