Questa piacevole escursione di moderata difficoltà ti porterà fino alla cima della montagna più popolare del gruppo di isole delle Cicladi: il Monte Zas! Una volta raggiunta la vetta, ci sono molte cose di cui essere orgogliosi! Non solo sarai nel punto più alto delle Cicladi, ma avrai anche raggiunto la cima della montagna dove fu allevato Zeus, padre e re degli dei dell'Olimpo. Il sentiero che seguirai è esattamente lo stesso sentiero che le persone hanno seguito fino alla cima della montagna fin dai tempi antichi. Il vasto blu del Mar Egeo ti accompagnerà lungo il percorso, mentre la vista delle vicine isole Cicladi è mozzafiato. Quando sei in cima, la vista a 360 gradi è degna degli Dei! Una volta raggiunta la cima, trascorrerai un po' di tempo a scattare foto e a gustare un delizioso dolcetto tradizionale. Dopo aver ammirato tutta la bellezza, inizi la via del ritorno! Alla fine della tua escursione ti godrai un delizioso picnic tradizionale!

L'orario di inizio del tour è fissato alle 09:00 per gli ospiti che non desiderano utilizzare il nostro servizio di pick-up e scelgono di incontrarci al punto di partenza. Per gli ospiti che scelgono il componente aggiuntivo di ritiro e riconsegna, l'orario di ritiro verrà inviato loro il giorno prima del tour: sarà alle 08:00 circa (a seconda della posizione del tuo alloggi), e il tour inizierà alle 09:00.

We climbed to the top of Mt Zeus (Mt Zas) it was an experience. Not for the faint of heart tho. Hector was amazing and the views were incredible! Even saw a mountain goat.
Hector is such a lovely person to meet, and really makes the experience. The hike is beautiful but what I remember most fondly is the history and cultural knowledge learned from conversations with our guide. The walk definitely gets a bit harder towards the summit, and our guide kept a great awareness of the group and called short breaks if members of the group were struggling. A lovely hike, but definitely know to expect a rocky uphill walk if it's not something you're used to :)
Really nice trip up the top of Mount Zas. Our guide was super nice and told a lot about the area, nature and Naxos in general. Fantastic view from the top! Definitely our best experience on Naxos.
One of the guides (Hector) picked us up from our hotel and brought us to the beginning of the hike where we met the other family and guide (Nectarius). The hike itself was beautiful. Through the hike our guides continually told us history and stories about the land and the views we were seeing. They were extremely knowledgeable. When we reached the top, we had a wonderful view of dozens of islands all around Naxos. Hector and Nectarius were able to tell the name and backstory of each one. We are also provided with a little snack. When we reached the bottom, there was a lovely lunch with ample food prepared for us. They also brought us back to our hotel. They also take photos of you throughout the hike which they send to you for free afterwards. The guides showed so much care the entire time. I definitely recommend.

This moderate level hike is a great way to see Naxos from a different perspective. Hector did a phenomenal job assisting us along the hike at all times and checking in with us. Hector was very knowledgeable with the surrounding farms, plants, herbs, and mythology attached to the mountain.
Our guide was so friendly, knowledge, and helpful on the hike! He even held out water bottles for us so we would have an easier time hiking. The whole experience was definitely tiring, but worth it for great views and Greek history.
Myself & wife are both mid 60s & booked this hike which was rated as moderate. Although it was quite strenuous at times for us we thoroughly enjoyed the day. Hector our guide was brilliant. He was extremely knowledgeable regarding the history & explained everything clearly. He had a great sense of humour & was very patient whenever one of our group needed a rest. The views are well worth the effort & the price of the trip was good value. Strongly recommended.
