Great, easy experience. The van was clean and spacious. There were water and snacks offered to us. We were able to stop to use the bathroom, go to the grocery store, and eat at our convenience. The drive was scenic. We were able to see Arenal volcano. Highly recommend!
Actually it was a transfer with Revekkah from Monteverde to Manuel Antonio . What a lovely girl she was , the car was big with plenty of room to relax. This is a 4 hour trip minimally depending on traffic and for Revekkah double that as she lives in Manuel Antonio. Would highly recommend for any transfer activities. Traffic was pretty bad today at points being the weekend but she happily offered to stop if we wanted to see the crocs at crocodile bridge en route . We thanked her but kindly declined to let her get on her way . Great journey with her today ! 🥰

Driver very safe and thoughtful. On time. Stopped for us to use bathroom at a cute shop mid way. Road steep, narrow and windy. Would not want to drive that myself.

We had a relaxing drive from Manuel Antonio into the mountains. Rebeca, our driver, was super nice. She told us a lot about the country and its people and pointed out many beautiful views during the trip.

Our driver Joshua spoke both Spanish and English. He was prompt, friendly, enthusiastic, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The van was modern, comfortable, and spacious. We were amazed by how patient he was considering the driving conditions. Traffic often moved very slow, and there were very few passing zones. He was a safe driver that didn't do anything unsafe due to frustration. Upon arrival in Monteverde, it was discovered that the road to our hotel had been closed temporarily due to a Christmas parade. Without being asked, Joshua helped us walk our belongings about a half mile to our hotel. This included getting thru the crowd watching the parade and up a steep, long hill. And we don't travel light. Then he of course had to walk all the way back to the van. We were very happy with SAMA Transfers and our driver Joshua.
