Great and fun time, enjoyed the experience
Great experience and guide. Recommend the company work to improve the vehicle. There was a broken seatbelt, so I was not belted in which was a little scary in Nairobi traffic. Recommend bringing your own full water bottle since we were not offered any despite the information saying it was included. Also, bring snacks since the mornings are long. We saw 22 animal species so it is well worth your time!
Nairobi Nation Park, right on the doorstep of the city, so no long and expensive trips to the other parks. The only thing we didn’t see were the lions,… not a disappointment as everything else was up close and fabulous. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, sharing sightings with colleagues to get us to the wildlife immediately (we saw 4 of the big five within 2 hours). Would recommend to anyone, great for families, kids and adults alike. The Elephant Orphanage and Giraffe sanctuary were great too,… you get to feed the Giraffes.
Watson was wonderful and so were the other ladies in the excursion. Watson was an incredible guide where he seemed to know the best places to go and was well respected by his peers. It was great how he communicated with the other guides when lions and other wildlife was found.
Saw loads of animals, Watson our guide was really good. Would recommend! Early start and a long day but worth it
I'll start with the bad to get it out of the way. When we made our booking we asked that it just be the 5 of us and it was confirmed it woukd be but when the car arrived there were 2 other tourists on the tour with us which made it a bit crowded in the van. However.... We had a great day with Watson as our guide. If you want a prime spot and a guide that makes sure you do then go with these guys. We saw Lions, Hippos, Giraffe, Buffalo, Warthog, Jackels, Zebra, Crocodiles, Rhinos, Vultures, heaps of other birds in Nairobi National Park We had front row viewing of the Elephants at Sheldrick thanks to Watson and his colleague. We stopped at great little shop for a coffee and they had great souvenirs. Watson also organised a guide to take us through the Giraffe Centre. We had a great day thanks to Watson.
We were in Nairobi for a workshop, and had little time to experience the country. This Safari day was therefore a perfect opportunity to see a lot in a short time. Our guide picked us up at the hotel - it was excellent to get a confirmation on pick-up time via whatsapp the day before. We really enjoyed driving through Nairobi National Park - although we didn't see any big cats, this was absolutely no issue as we saw so many other animals, and so much closer up than I had even imagined. Our guide Watson was very friendly, patient and had a lot of knowledge on all the animals. We next stopped by the Sheldric Elephant Orphanage for a one hour event where we learned about their good work and saw the lovely elephants being fed. Next we had lunch - we chose a great Kenyan buffet. Next to the lunch place was a huge gift shop. While this had a great selection of all kinds of souvenirs, it was extremely expensive. I am sure others are more adept at bargaining than me, though.. Last stop was at the giraffe center, where we got to feed the giraffes, and Watson also made sure the local guide told us a lot of interesting things about the giraffes and the center. All in all a wonderful day.
Initially is was not good as we were not picked up , however after contacting the company they came to collect us with a car and took us to the park. This might have been a blessing in disguise as about 10min after coming into the park we saw a pride of lions which was amazing as they say they are rare to be seen. We also saw some of the big 5 and some other animals in their natural habitat. Our guide was awesome explaining to us various things and stopping in the park to let us take in the animals and see them feeding and walking through the fields. The lunch was buffet was great (evennthough not included it was affordable and Halaal) and was by a gift shop where we could purchase some beautiful Kenyan pieces. The baby elephants and baby black rhino was too cute as well as the giraffe centre where we got to feed the giraffes and see "pumba" roaming around🤭. All in all a good day and an experience I would definitely recommend 👌
We had an absolutely incredible day exploring the National Park! It was the perfect family outing for my partner and I, together with our 4 year old son. Our driver, Watson, was outstanding. He was incredibly friendly, highly knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure we were always in the perfect spots to get the best views and photos of all the wildlife available. I highly recommend this specific tour. Combining the park safari with the elephant orphanage and wrapping up at the Giraffe Centre in the afternoon made for an unforgettable, seamless day.
Total cost for the two of us for the day was just over £200 excluding gifts. This included everything including fabulous food at The Love Birds Art Centre and an excellent gifts/souvenir shop. The Safari was incredible and memories I will treasure for life all thanks to our excellent and knowledgeable guide Watson Munene. I cannot thank this man enough and he is a credit to the Nairobi National Park and all the connected businesses including Kobe Tough Beads & Leather who do an amazing job and have the most beautiful products that made my Kenyan girlfriend very happy. We were privileged to see a Pride of 7 lions amongst so much wildlife. Special thanks to the Elephant orphanage and Giraffe centre also. ❤️🏴🇰🇪
