Naag Tibba Trek

A memorable summit trek near Mussoorie I am happy to share the wonderful experience I had with Manish and team of Yeti outdoors on my solo trek to Nag Tibba. I chose the 2 nights and 3 days trek route. Manish had explained the itinerary and gave weather updates before I started from my home. We started from Mussoorie by vehicle to the trail head near Pantwari village on Day1 . The climb to the Nag Tibba Base Camp was of moderate intensity under clear skies and cool weather. We stayed the night in tents pitched by us at the campsite and enjoyed piping hot food cooked by Rishabh. Highlight of the meal for me was the Ginger Lemon Honey drink spiked with wee bit of Rum:) Day 2 started at 6am with a steep moderate intensity climb to the Nag Tibba Summit . We reached well in time to witness the first rays of the Sun falling on some of the worlds tallest and greatest mountains…Bandarpoonch, Chaukhamba, Nanda Devi . After spending some time at the summit we descended to the base camp and packed our equipment to proceed on our trek to Devalsari. After walking a total of about 14km we reached Devalsari home stay nestled in Verdant Deodar forests. Next day Manish and Rishabh gave me a tour of the Devalsari Bird Sanctuary and we saw numerous birds with commentary by Rishabh. We visited an ancient Shiva temple in the middle of the Deodar forest and started our descent to the road head. We walked about 18km by my watch on this day:). I congratulate Manish and team for the perfect planning and execution of the trek. The weather was perfect and supported us throughout. The food was simple and delicious. I take back happy memories of the majestic Greater Himalayas , verdant Deodar forests with its flora and fauna and the hearty companionship of Team Yeti Outdoors. Looking forward to come back for some more interesting Himalayan treks with Manish and team!

This trekking trip was an unforgettable experience In Nag Tibba, filled with breathtaking views, peaceful trails, and a true connection with nature. Our experience (2 women) with the Yeti team (Manish, our guide, and Ashish, his assistant) was absolutely wonderful. We were open to a group trip but it ended up being a private tour, which ended up being a great option - it allowed us to have more conversations with Manish, who is very knowledgeable about the region, nature, biodiversity, local culture, and much more. We enjoyed Manish's company and the opportunity to share a bit of our perspectives about nature/sustainability and learn from his perspectives as well. The team provided everything needed for the trip - meals (which were incredibly tasty), camping gear, and trekking guidance. We would (and have done so already!) highly recommend Manish and would love to have the opportunity to join another trek with Yeti Outdoors.

Binog Tibba...... Trek was an unforgettable experience! The lush greenery, tranquil environment, and panoramic views of the Doon Valley made it truly special.The trail is in easy moderately, making it ideal for beginners and nature lovers. Walking through dense pine forests was calming, and the view of the snow-capped peaks from the summit was breathtaking. The trek took us about 4-5 hours round trip. Special attractions like Jwala Devi Temple or rare Himalayan birds. Along the way, we spotted vibrant Himalayan birds and ended the trek with a serene visit to the Jwala Devi Temple, adding a spiritual touch to the adventures."Binog Tibba is perfect for anyone seeking a peaceful escape into nature. Whether you’re an experienced trekker or a beginner, this trek is a must-do when visiting Mussoorie!" The Trek was laid by Manish & Rishabh very interesting guys who shared so many things of mountain traveling principles and true Nature enthusiasts have a lot of knowledge of diversity, ecology system, Himalayas mountains. Super trek to Naag tibba with Manish and Rishab of Yetioutdoors. Amazingly friendly guys and you feel completely safe and confident with them. Their level of passionate involvement in what they do is worth many trips with them. Outstanding and their service is beyond one’s expectations.

A great tour. We were picked up by Rishikesh (about 3 h drive) have spent one night in Mousuri and have then been collected in the morning for the trek. This was followed by another long drive (about 2.5 h drive) and then we started. The ascent to the camp took 1.5 hours and was easy to complete. The camp is firmly laid out in a wonderful garden with large tents and covered communal area including toilet. The food (rice, Dal, Naan ...) is very delicious and freshly cooked. There is mountain water to drink. We had tablets for water purification with us and got some. In the evening there was a campfire on the hill with a small snack. At half past three at night, after a short sleep (please bring warm clothes) we continued up the mountain for 3 hours. The path is not too strenuous, but good visibility is important. We have been supplied with good headlamps. Once at the top we could still admire the starry sky. The guides made a fire to warm up and cooked a delicious mint tea with freshly picked mint. Delicious. There was juice and snacks. Then a magnificent sunrise and a fascinating view of the Himalayan scenery. The guide Rishu explained a lot about hikes to high mountains and showed us which tips had which names. We could see one of the highest mountains in the world! The way back was then wonderful for planting and watching animals. Rishu told a lot of interesting things about butterflies, medicinal plants and birds. Back at base camp we had breakfast and the opportunity to take a nap. Then we went back to the jeep. We really enjoyed the tour and can only recommend it to others.

I had really great experience for this Naag Tibba Trek with my guide Manish ! Even if we had organisation's problems because of Trip Advisor, the team was really helpfull and did his best to offer me this incredible experience ! I learnt a lot of things about nature and this part of moutains thanks of Manish who is a really good guide and good company ! I have really good memories of this Trek ! Thank you
