Il Faro Armenistis è un punto di riferimento notevole a Mykonos, situato nella parte nordoccidentale dell'isola. Questo faro storico non è solo un importante aiuto alla navigazione ma anche un punto di interesse per i visitatori grazie alla sua posizione panoramica e ai panorami che offre.
La spiaggia di Ftelia è importante per il suo insediamento neolitico, che risale al V millennio a.C. Questo lo rende uno dei siti preistorici più importanti del Mar Egeo. Ti porteremo sulla collina che domina la baia di Ftelia con viste mozzafiato sul Mar Egeo e poi in uno dei punti più alti di Mykonos con viste meravigliose sulle isole circostanti.
La spiaggia di Fokos è nota per la sua bellezza naturale serena e incontaminata. È una delle spiagge più tranquille dell'isola, il che la rende un rifugio perfetto per chi cerca tranquillità lontano dalle spiagge più affollate e famose. Faremo una sosta per esplorare la spiaggia o per goderci una nuotata, nota per le sue acque cristalline e la bellissima spiaggia sabbiosa. Il paesaggio naturale che circonda la spiaggia, compresi gli affioramenti rocciosi e la flora dell'Egeo, ne aumenta il fascino.
La nostra scorta ti condurrà alla spiaggia di Mirsini, una delle spiagge meno conosciute e più appartate dell'isola, che offre un ambiente tranquillo e relativamente incontaminato. È una destinazione ideale per chi cerca un rifugio tranquillo lontano dalle spiagge più famose e affollate.
Ano Mera è un incantevole villaggio situato nel centro di Mykonos. È la seconda zona più popolosa dell'isola dopo la città di Mykonos (Chora) e offre un contrasto con l'atmosfera vivace e cosmopolita di quest'ultima. Ano Mera è nota per la sua tradizionale architettura cicladica, l'ambiente tranquillo e i ricchi siti storici. Possiamo fermarci per un pranzo/bevande in una delle taverne tradizionali con il miglior cibo greco che puoi trovare nel villaggio. (Nota: pranzo/bevande esclusi nel prezzo del tour). È possibile visitare anche il Monastero di Panagia Tourliani fondato nel XVI secolo, questo monastero è una caratteristica centrale del villaggio. È noto per la sua bellissima architettura, tra cui un campanile in marmo e un'iconostasi riccamente decorata. Il monastero ospita anche un piccolo museo con manufatti e icone religiose. (ingressi esclusi).
Merchia Beach è un tesoro nascosto per coloro che desiderano sperimentare il lato più sereno di Mykonos. Il suo fascino incontaminato è in netto contrasto con le spiagge più sviluppate e vivaci dell'isola, rendendola un rifugio unico e tranquillo. Visiteremo il lato selvaggio di questo paesaggio. Potrai vedere la famosa chiesetta di San Nicola proprio al confine di questa zona.
La nostra ultima tappa sarà la collina vicino al famoso mulino a vento "Mylos to Kokkinou" che domina la città di Mykonos (Chora) con viste panoramiche e un fascino unico.

So we actually were not able to deboard our cruise ship due to weather so could not participate in the experience:( We did not find this out until the day of our excursion. We were very disappointed and worried we would not get a full refund. We contacted viator and the tour company who issued a full refund within the 24 hr window. I know this is not guaranteed but was much appreciated! Will definitely rebook the next time we're in Mykonos.

Words can’t express how amazing our tour and experience was! The most memorable part of our trip. From the moment our guide picked us up - we were welcomed and treated with respect, attention, and care. We spent the day together at our own pace, admiring the hidden lands of Mykonos. We had the best time with our private guide ALEXANDER touring the island of Mykonos. The jeep was the perfect way to see the island- comfortable and fun! ALEXANDER took us to the non touristy side of the island so we could experience the Greek culture! He knew all the private spots where we were the only ones and could really take in the beautiful island. SO happy we booked this trip! We would highly recommend this tour and asking for ALEXANDER!!!

We had a fun day with Alexander learning about different areas and history. Mykonos was our last cruise port, so we were a bit quiet/tired. BUT, we all enjoyed the back roads and gorgeous scenery on the north side of the island. We even stopped at a local organic farm for a cheese tasting and wine! Loved the back story and seeing the animals roam. Alexander took us to a great local restaurant for a delicious greek lunch and a drop off at the old town for our family to explore on our own. Would definitely go again!
