Entry was very fast, allowing us to avoid the long lines outside and save time. The real game-changer was the audio guide: clear, full of fascinating details, and never boring during the tour. Given how many paintings are on display in the Van Gogh Museum, it is actually very helpful that the audio guide selects a limited number in each room to focus on.
It is definitely worth getting the audio guide; it gives a lot of context to Van Gogh's history and makes the tour much more interesting. The museum is very well organized, although it gets quite crowded near the most famous works. It is essential to book an appointment in advance. A great plan for couples in Amsterdam.

The museum is very well organized and seeing the sunflowers in person gave me chills. I absolutely recommend booking tickets in advance online to avoid lines at the entrance. Inside there is a magical and welcoming atmosphere, also ideal for relaxing. An unmissable stop if you visit Amsterdam, I would go back tomorrow!

For a family, the visiting Van Gogh museum was really nice, as we were planning to visit the place for many years. Finally we got here, we purchased our tickets in advance about 2 months, all was as expected, the rooms are large, organized, elevators, cafee, all was good for us and we have possitive experience.

Easy way to get into the museum on an otherwise sold out day. We showed the booking at the ticket entrance and were advised on where to collect the audio. Paid a bit more than if we had planned in advance but it worked out ok.
