“Le Macchine di Leonardo”, la più grande collezione (PRIVATA) al mondo di macchine Leonardo DA Vinci nasce seguendo il passione giovanile di Carlo (nato il 25 febbraio 1936), il fondatore della famiglia e azienda Niccolai. Artigiani particolarmente abili, i membri della famiglia Niccolai hanno finora sviluppato 250 modelli diversi, e 50 modelli interattivi basato sulla Codici DA Vinci e su documenti storici utilizzando i materiali del tempo di Leonardo: legno, metallo, corde e tessuti. Secondo le regole non scritte degli artigiani fiorentini, Carlo Niccolai ha trasmesso la sua passione ai suoi figli e nipoti che, grazie alla conoscenza delle nuove tecnologie hanno arricchito la collezione di nuovi modelli e organizzato più di cento mostre in tutto il mondo negli ultimi dieci anni. La mostra è di 850 metri quadrati di esposizione su tre piani

Le macchine di Leonardo Da Vinci sono esposte alla Galleria Michelangelo, dove erano soliti incontrarsi i Macchiaioli, in una delle strade più rinomate del centro di Firenze. Più di 50 modelli sono esposti in quattro sale: la più grande è dedicata alle macchine civili, nella seconda sala sono esposte macchine volanti, nella terza si trovano macchine da guerra e nella quarta si può trovare la raccolta di modelli anatomici recentemente sviluppata. ammirato. La maggior parte dei modelli sono vere macchine funzionanti. Un documentario sulla vita e le opere di Leonardo Da Vinci viene visualizzato su monitor di grandi dimensioni. La galleria è convenzionata con il Caffé Michelangiolo, il ristorante all'interno dell'area espositiva. In libreria troverai tantissime pubblicazioni e gadget.

We arrived a little early and the staff member that greeted us was quite rude, this was a little off putting. We returned later and once inside the museum we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The amount of inventions were impressive and having an opportunity to try many of them out was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Misleadingly, we thought we had bought a ticket at the museum in Leonardo da Vinci's birthplace. So that was a different museum.
What a consummate genius with so many brilliant engineering designs. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Interesting , worth a look Would be difficult if you had children. It can get noisy when there are lots of kids
Loved it! I liked that you could explore all of Da Vinci’s inventions at your own pace. They even had samples you could try out to see them in motion.

Booked a last minute ticket for the wrong day by accident and the staff were very kind and a great help changing the ticket for me. Overall the museum was okay. Not quite what I was looking for as it was more for kids.
Buy your ticket online, it's cheaper. The museum was a nice fun walk through, very informative on Da Vinci's creations and inspirations. A lot of interactive exhibits too, good for kids and adults. Took about 30-45 min to walk through completely. Not too crowded of a place too which was nice.
It is a very interesting museum. There were lots of children on the day we visited, so be patient around the interactive models.
Highly recommended experience. Beautiful museum, very well-stocked with many interactive exhibits suitable for both adults and children.
