It’s great to see the old pictures and props. Very quick if you want it to be but I lingered. I don’t see how someone with limited mobility would do it.
The show was okay not bad, but not amazing either. My daughter and I arrived early, but it felt like other people who came after us were being brought in or assisted before us, which was a little frustrating. The waiting and crowding definitely affected the overall experience for me. I would just recommend coming prepared for it to be very crowded and for the process to feel a little unorganized at times. Overall, it was an okay experience, but not something that really stood out to me.
We believed the Museum's website that the experience took 1.5 to 2 hours...we could have spent longer. My wife and I are "readers." We loved the way the museum was laid out chronilogically and showed how drama and music merged and also grew independently. The text, photos, and archive items in each historic era helped to tell the unique history of Broadway fare, and the various arts as well. There were costumes, props and models of sets and videos. We'd highly recommend the museum to theater-goers...especially those who seek to understand why Broadway is such an exciting and vibrant area.
What a lovely museum. Well priced and we could have spend longer if not had other commitments. It wasn't too busy and you can mill around easily at your own rate. Staff were helpful. Best of theatre fans obviously but really liked they also had a floor on technical production which was excellent.

We very much enjoyed the exhibits in this relatively new museum! I particularly liked the overview of Broadway history and highlighting of some of the most important shows throughout the history, with interesting photos and artifacts. We spent over 2 hours there, and could have spent longer. It was fun and well done!

I wanted to love this. I am definitely in the target audience for "The Museum of Broadway." Rather than having many artifacts, however, the museum was more like an interactive presentation on the History of Broadway. I felt like I was in a very good PowerPoint presentation. The museum was clean and well-presented, but there was too much text mixed with flashy walls and lighting. Not a lot of artifacts, and again - a lot of text. I didn't have a BAD time, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
The Museum of Broadway was an absolutely wonderful experience. We loved every moment of it. The exhibits are vibrant, creative, and full of energy — a real celebration of theatre history and the magic of the stage. We only wished we’d had more time to explore everything properly, because there’s so much to see and enjoy. It’s a must‑visit for anyone who loves Broadway or just appreciates great storytelling and design.
