More exacting directions to your office would be very helpful. We arrived an hour late and a staff member personally walked us over to the Vatican Museum and got all 11 of us in for a self-tour as the guide was already in midst of group tour. Don’t make my mistake: TONS of hallways with incredible artifacts, so allow much more than 4 hours to tour this massive museum complex.
Dear guest, Thank you for sharing your experience and feedback! We’re glad to know that you enjoyed your visit to the Vatican Museums and appreciated our staff’s assistance in ensuring your group could still join the tour. We’d also like to note that the directions to the meeting point are included on the voucher you receive via email after booking — this helps guests find us more easily before the tour. We truly appreciate your comments and hope to welcome you again on another tour soon!
Absolutely stunning. So much history. Our guide was simply outstanding. Very knowledgeable, personable and friendly.
Dear Steve, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the tour and appreciated the rich history as well as our guide’s knowledge and friendliness. Your kind words mean a lot to us. We hope to welcome you again on another adventure soon!
Deny was a great tour guide. She was so smart and made everyone in the group feel included. She spoke so many different languages. Excellent tour and great information provided.
Our tour guide Marco was wonderfully knowledgeable and kind. Our group was originally supposed to be a small group of 8 but turned into 20, not a huge deal to us but just something to take note on if you value that. I will preface by saying if you want a calm experience I recommend booking a private tour for 6am, once the Sistine Chapel / Museum / St. Peter’s is open, it is VERY crowded, very overwhelming at times (and this was in the fall not even summer). Beautiful artwork and our tour guide Marco had a little something to say about it all, our group had headphones that were connected to a radio speaker so we could pretty clearly hear Marco over the crowd noise. I highly recommend if you are spending a couple days in Rome to do this on a single day as the Vatican is so large you cannot just do it within a few hours, however if you only want to see the Sistine Chapel/few exhibits/St. Peters, then 3 hours would be sufficient. I do highly recommend doing a tour as it is very overwhelming inside, it is nice to have some direction!
Very good tour of the highlights of the Vatican museums, entry into the museums and the dome is included. Great background info and stories around the masterpieces.
My only complaint is the attitude of the tour operator in the main office. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name but she was very rude and abrupt with us. Additionally she changed our meet up point at the very last minute causing use to have to re-route and get to the tour late which then forced us into a later tour slot. However, the actual tour guide was amazing. Very informative and friendly.
Our guide had a very strong Italian accent and it was difficult to understand her English. She was lovely, but we took the ear buds off. Too hot. Too many people. Very difficult to capture the beauty.
Had a terrific tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. The tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful at every turn. She easily handled all of the group’s questions. She also provided a great overview of St Peter’s and the modern church.
Really informative tour that made the vast expanse of the museum, Sistine chapel, and St Peter’s basilica very manageable
Worst experience with the local operator. Basically they left us behind, didn't gave me my tickets even If I lose the guide tour. They said Aviator had to responde for that and Aviator respond "we cannot do anything"
