Musei Vaticani, Cappella Sistina e San Pietro - Tour privato

We were picked up by the same driver as day before. Maxmio he was just as friendly and Kind. We travel with my father (83) and his wife (80) When we arrive Maria Theresa was waiting she immediately had my dad and wife wait by the entrance while she and my husband and I hot in line. To save steps for them. She asked great questions to understand the struggle of long standing . She took the time to find a shady bench so we could sit while she explained about the chapel as we would not be able to talk inside there. She also requested a few "shortcuts" from security to lesson the amount of stairs. She did this whenever possible. She went out of her way to find us seats when needed. She was very passionate and knowledgeable about the church and the history. My father is a pastor and she was so respectful and honoring of him in all she said. If we could have packed her up and taken her with us we would have. I have never had a guide go so far to ensure we saw everything and understood the history behind what we were seeing. If we ever comeback we would request her again. Thank you Maria Teresa for an amazing experience. In photo attached you see she helped Barbara down the stairs as if she was her own family.

This was our second trip to Rome and we had such a wonderful time with Kai Travel on the first trip, that we decided to use them again. Denis was an interesting, excellent and a professional guide of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica. He thoroughly explained art especially the Sistine Chapel paintings before we entered as talking is not permitted inside. His attention to detail was exceptional. After our tour he took us to the Vatican shop which we were very appreciative. Denis made our experience the best ever!!!

Our private tour was amazing. Vatican City was very crowded. Denis our private guide was able to navigate through the crowd. Dennis was very knowledgeable and pointed out many interesting facts as we walked through the Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica. We learned so much and easily navigated through our visit which would have been challenging without our tour guide.

Denis was a great guide who knew how to get us around this very busy area. He was very knowledgeable on everything within the Vatican especially since we visited the Vatican the day after the Pope had died. A private tour was definitely worth every dollar we spent.

Wow! What an amazing tour. Denis met us at a restaurant near the entrance to the Vatican. Once we met up, he took us right in, no standing in line! This was great as it was a misty/rainy day. We didn't have to be outside for long, because we were whisked right into the Museums. What a vast array of sculptures, artwork, and tapestries. Denis talked about what we saw and mainly hit the highlights of the different rooms and artwork of the times. This included the walls and the ceilings as well. One could spend days in these museums and still not learn all there is to know. We appreciated the information and that it was not too lengthy as we had just flown in from the US. On to the Basilica and Sistine Chapel. Denis explained with an ipad picture, what we would see in the Sistine Chapel, as no photographs are allowed, and it would be too packed to have a discussion in the Chapel. Sistine was PACKED with people!! We went in November, so I can only imagine how stuffed it would be in there in the summertime. At any rate, the artwork was completely awesome. In the Basilica, Denis showed us the main sculptures and explained what the intent was for many of the pieces. Again, we learned so much and left with a complete appreciation for the hands that molded, formed, and painted the many beautiful sights. We will definitely recommend Denis to friends and family, as his tour was informative, and he was a complete pleasure as a guide. Thank you so much!
