Muscat City Tour mezza giornata

What a great choice to take a 3 hour guided tour of Muscat on a long stopover. We had our visas but it was not easy to leave the airport where we had a hotel room. We made it happen & Saif of Sunshine Tours greeted us & took us on an amazing visit of the city & surrounds. Now, we want to go back for a longer visit. There is a lot to see.

We booked a private tour for 220$ with a guide and got a (nice) taxi driver, not speaking english, who drove us from places to places without any guidance nor tour. We were supposed to start the tour wit thr the mosque (tour booked at 11AM) but we finished there 3 hours after it closed (at 11AM so thr tour should never start that late to visit it). It really wasn't worth the price and I demand a refund, at least 50% of the price

Took this tour during our visit to Muscat,and cannot rate highly enough. We were picked up at the exact time at the hotel and saw all the main sights of Muscat. Our guide, Mazin, was very knowledgeable and friendly and took the time to tell us about all the sights we were visiting and the history of the country. It was really good to have the local knowledge on a tour like this. We saw all the main sights, including the Grand Mosque, the Royal Palace and the Souk. In the souk, the guide showed us a number of shops to buy local items. Overall this was an excellent tour, and showed us round the city in a way we wouldn't be able to ourselves and represented very good value for money. Highly recommend!

This tour ticked all the boxes to see the main highlights in Muscat. We booked online from the UK prior to a cruise in the Middle East. The guide was at the meeting point as arranged. He spoke very good English and was knowledgable about the sites. He helped with my husband who was in a wheelchair and bartered for me in the souk. We would recommend this company and will use them again.

We enjoyed the tour, the city and the guide. He was competent and very friendly. Everything went well! We were able to see the beauties of Muscat on this short tour of the city, accompanied by a good guide, very friendly and available to answer our questions about a culture so different for us and sometimes difficult to understand. It 'was a very pleasant and interesting visit.

Our Oman Tours was very good. Specially our Tour Guide Abdhulla did a great job in explaining all the culture and history of Oman. in our half day tour we now know so much more about oman and its History. Abdhulla arrived on time and was was greatly helpful specially accommodating with my 2 year old son's needs. He assisted us by showing great shopping places and food stores which were in our itinerary. It was very comfortable ride with chilled water provided which was much needed on hot Summer day. highly recommended.

Seven of us from Seabourn Encore enjoyed a perfectly marvelous tour with Omar this past April. It may have been only a half day tour but seemed like much more because we learned so much from Omar. With an early start we got to the beautiful Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque ahead of the crowds and once properly clothed, toured the mosque while Omar pointed our the intricate art work and guided us through the extensive library. The tour included stops at the Muttarah fish market and souk, the Opera House and Al Alam Palace. The private Bait Al Zubair museum is a treasure chest of items from Omani life and culture which Omar explained to us in great detail. Truly a great day in Muscat with Omar!
