An amazingly personal way to see the Old Town. Amahd, our guide, was able to combine sites of both historic and personal interest which made for a delightful and enjoyable day.
Ahmad was a terrific guide. He knew the area, the history, and the right routes. He reached out in advance and took great care of us. We mixed walking with public transportation because of our hotel location. I would definitely recommend this tour and Ahmad.
3-hour private tour of Munich with our guide Serge, who was very friendly and enthusiastic. Very beautiful tour of Munich's iconic sites.
Fred worked with us for time and start and ending location. In between we heard stories about old town Munich saw the 3 major churches as well as Trinity chapel. He explained history and engaged the teenagers with learning German words as well as WW II. It was a thorough tour, walked about 3 miles.
Roberto was a wonderful, gracious guide. I feel very fortunate to have taken a solo two hour walking tour around the major sites close to Marienplatz. Roberto was super friendly, prompt, and communicated very well prior to the tour so I knew where to meet him and what to expect. Roberto was super knowledgeable as well, taking me inside several churches in the area, giving me lots of historic insight into the buildings and Munich. Much of our walking tour centered on Old Town and I was especially taken with his information about the medieval ramparts, schooner brunet, and knees Rathaus and the tower. Overall, I highly recommend this tour and Roberto as a highly knowledgeable, friendly guide. Lovely day of walking (all flat, easy) about Old Town Munich.
Excellent guide, wonderful tour
Our tour guide, Roberto was outstanding. He listened to our requests to focus on certain topics and he came through. Wonderful stories and knew the history of Munich very well. My son and I really enjoyed our time with Roberto and learned a lot. Highly recommend him as a guide.
We had a private 3hour walking tour with Maggie to tour Munich. She met us at our hotel lobby and was prompt and on time. We walked and toured all of the major attractions that we wanted to see on that tour. Maggie seemed well prepared and was kind and very nice. She even bought us a little glass of honey wine at one of the local vendos in the Viktualiennarkt! However, because Marienplatz and the surrounding area outside of it is so busy and so loud with so many people, foot traffic, bicycles, etc I do wish that she would have spoken louder. There were a couple of times I even asked her to speak louder because I couldn’t hear her. I was even standing just a couple of feet from her and I really had to lean to hear what she was saying. Other than that, it was a great tour.
Phillip was a wonderful guide--knowledgeable, laid-back, and catered to our interests.
Ahmed was a friendly and engaged guide who gave us a good overview of the rise of the third reich in Munich, and showed us some interesting local points of interest and recommended an excellent restaurant for lunch after the tour. A great way to orientate ourselves around Munich.
