Ti invitiamo a incontrarci alle 15:55 alla Statua di Giulietta / Marienplatz 15, dove incontreremo la tua guida e poi faremo una breve introduzione a Monaco prima di recarci al nostro negozio per ritirare la bicicletta per il tuo tour. I caschi sono incl. su richiesta.
Il Platzl: Sede del Monaco Heartbeat. Questa affascinante piazza storica è essenzialmente il luogo di nascita della leggendaria cultura della birra di Monaco! È famosa per ospitare la famosa Hofbräuhaus e le sue strade di ciottoli sono fiancheggiate da edifici tradizionali bavaresi. Il Platzl cattura perfettamente l'essenza della vecchia Monaco, rendendola una sosta vivace e autentica
La nostra seconda tappa è deliziarvi con le storie della famiglia Wittelsbacher e dei loro legami con Napoleone. Vi raccontiamo anche di più sul Teatro dell'Opera e sulla Residenz.
Questa maestosa piazza è una delle più imponenti di Monaco, sul modello di una famosa piazza di Firenze. Attraversando la città in bicicletta, vedrai la torreggiante Theatinerkirche (Chiesa Teatina) gialla, uno splendido capolavoro barocco, e la Feldherrnhalle, un monumento con un ruolo potente e centrale nella storia moderna della Baviera. È un luogo dove si sono svolte grandi parate ed eventi storici significativi, offrendo uno sguardo sul passato regale e drammatico di Monaco.
Questo immenso complesso proprio nel centro della città è stato l'ex casa e sede del potere per i sovrani Wittelsbach della Baviera per oltre 400 anni. Mentre passiamo in bicicletta, vedrai le sue grandi facciate, accennando alle centinaia di sontuose camere, cortili e tesori all'interno. È il più grande palazzo cittadino della Germania e una testimonianza vivente di secoli di regalità bavarese.
Questo splendido giardino in stile rinascimentale, un tempo esclusivamente per i reali, è ora un'oasi pubblica serena. Pedaleremo attraverso i suoi prati curatissimi, oltre fontane imponenti e ammireremo l'iconico Tempio Diana nel suo cuore - spesso un luogo per ballerini o musicisti nelle giornate di sole. È un contrasto pacifico con le vivaci piazze della città e un luogo perfetto per godersi il lato verde di Monaco.
Preparatevi a immergervi in uno dei parchi urbani più grandi e belli del mondo! Attraversando questo vasto spazio verde, scoprirete sentieri tranquilli, prati lussureggianti perfetti per prendere il sole e persino un fiume che scorre. È il parco giochi preferito della città, dove vedrai di tutto, dalle tradizionali birrerie all'aperto a luoghi unici come il River Surfers.
La nostra sosta vivace all'interno del Giardino Inglese! Questa iconica birreria all'aperto circonda un'esclusiva pagoda di legno di 25 metri. È un posto fantastico per sperimentare l'autentica 'Gemütlichkeit' bavarese (intimità) sotto i castagni. Avrai tempo per rilassarti, immergerti nell'atmosfera e acquistare cibo tradizionale e bevande rinfrescanti (non incluse).
Questo imponente edificio, situato ai margini del Giardino Inglese, è più di un semplice museo d'arte. È una struttura monumentale con una storia complessa, originariamente costruita negli anni '30. Oggi, si pone come un importante centro internazionale per l'arte contemporanea, ospitando impressionanti mostre mutevoli. Ci fermeremo per ammirare la sua architettura distintiva e conoscere il suo viaggio nel tempo.
Isartor: Porta medievale di Monaco. Una delle tre porte medievali rimaste di Monaco, l'Isartor si erge come un orgoglioso ricordo delle antiche fortificazioni della città. È un punto di riferimento suggestivo che ti trasporta indietro nel tempo, segnando il bordo orientale del centro storico della città.

This was an absolute blast. I was only in Munich for one day and had no firm plans. This was a great way to enjoy the sites without getting lost or exhausting yourself. Munich is a lovely place to ride a bike in, and ending at the beer garden was fun. My host was professional and friendly. It was nice getting little bits of information on all the recommended sites without having to research them in advance. I loved the English Gardens!

We had so much fun on this tour of Munich. It was super laid-back and we learned a lot about the history of the city. We went to a great beer garden and biked through the English garden, which was my favorite part. Munich is such a beautiful city and I can’t wait to explore it by bike next time. A wonderful historical experience tempered with wit and good hearted humour. Kyle's balance of information and wit is commendable and his histoical knowledge is admirable. We were a large group of 16 riders but the good sensible cycling pace cycling was managed well with successful negotiations of across roads. Not to mention the rear was carefully managed by "the sweeper" Dougie. The route is a mix of off road and cycle paths and almost completely flat making it suitable for cycling experiences. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Thank you Kyle and Dougie.
