Mt Vesuvio E-Bike Tour

Unfortunately our tour could not take place due to fires on Mount Vesuvius. Very unfortunate. A situation of force majeure that no one can do anything about. Nevertheless, a fantastic review from our side for Fabio and Enjoy bike Sorrento. The communication around our excursion was very good from the first moment. They have offered alternative trips and when we waived them, we neatly received our already paid deposit back. We will definitely come back and still book this excursion with them.

This company from start to finish were excellent. So helpful and friendly. My husband also did a solo cycle with Pedro who is a fantastic guide. He also was our guide on the mount vesuvius trip. If you are anyway active this is the best way to view mount vesuvius the views are outstanding and cycling down the hill is breathtaking with the support of Pedro.

Enchanting ride on Vesuvius, definitely worth reliving! It was a truly surprising tour, both for the breathtaking view of the Gulf of Naples and for the walk along the edge of the crater, and for having met a guide like Pietro who was competent, helpful and thoughtful especially with those who felt less safe in bike, he had a watchful eye on every occasion. As for the bikes and equipment, excellent!! New bikes! Going up was truly a walk in the park, even for those who haven't ridden a bike for many years. Thanks also to Carlo who followed us with the shuttle just in case. See you soon for more tours with you.

We thoroughly enjoyed the ebike ride with Peter up the mountain. We were only give 1 hr 10mins to see the crater, which we didn't feel was long enough. The additional walk up and down to get to the crater took up a lot of time, as a result, we were later returning to meet Peter

Fantastic Vesuvius bike ride. Peter was a great tour guide - very friendly & made the ride great fun. Peter collected us from our hotel in Sorrento & dropped us back after. Really good e-bikes. Unfortunately we couldn’t walk the crater due to windy weather at the top. We have subsequently received a refund for this part of the tour. However, Peter offered us the option to walk the nature trail to the lava river instead which was a great alternative. Highly recommend.

Fantastic day! Highly recommend this tour. Pietro (Peter) was an absolutely wonderful guide. We enjoyed his company on the drive to and from Vesuvius from Sorrento. The bikes were in perfect condition and made for smooth sailing to get to the top of the volcano. We then had a little over an hour at the crater to view on our own before flying down the mountain to the car. It was such a fun way to see Mount Vesuvius, and I am so glad we chose this option for seeing it.

Excellent organization, sympathy and availability of the staff. The bikes are new and in excellent state of maintenance. Our experience with the guide and the entire team was the best possible. Super recommended for experienced cyclists and even beginners. Visiting the Volcano Vesuvio is already a unique experience, arriving by bike and with the walk to the mouth of the volcano and an unforgettable experience.

This was a fabulous tour. We were staying in Naples so got the train to Torre del Greco (20 mins) where we were picked up outside the station promptly at 8 by Pietro. It was just me and my husband and after driving a short distance to the bottom of the road up to Versuvius , bike instructions and transfer of our tickets onto my phone we were off. The electric bikes were fab and Pietro was very friendly, attentive, helpful and informative. After about an hour ( with a break along the climb) we arrived at the walk to the top section where we left the bikes with Pietro and off we went. It was a hot 35/40 minute walk to the top and then about 20 mins down. We didn't get a view of the bay as it was cloudy but we did get mist rising from Versuvius. brilliant. The free wheel ride back down was amazing and we had smiles on our faces all the way down, even on some of the more hair-raising bends with the buses coming up. We really enjoyed the tour and are so glad we did. Slightly sore backsides and aching legs aside this was a once in a lifetime experience. So much better than being herded onto a bus and a really enjoyable few hours.

Such a fantastic trip. Pietro was brilliant, chatted the whole way there, really informative. Bikes were brilliant. Our son , Olly, is only 12 years old and Pietro made sure he was okay every step /pedal of the way. We felt safe with him and looked after. We laughed the whole day. If you want to see Mount Vesuvius take this tour it was one of our highlights on our holiday. Thanks Pietro it was brilliant. Olly is still talking about the fast ride back! Such fun no need to peddle going back down! Loved it!

I made a mistake in going to the wrong station, but nothing was too much trouble for our guide Peter who came and collected us. Fantastic bikes in 1st class condition, best guide and the views were just awesome. The ride back down is worth the hard work!
