Mountain Bike - Foresta di Voss

There is a separate E-bike tour. This one is manual mountain bikes and they are far heavier than needed for this activity. This is getting a poor rating because we said we were beginners and we should have been given E-bike to ride for this tour. The Great: Mohan was very nice. We enjoyed getting to know him and learning about his family and the work he does. We wish him the best. The Not So Great: We did say we hadn't ridden mountain bikes before and we asked about taking E-bikes but we're told we would be on regular bikes. Early on, it was clear that we would struggle with these bikes as they were too heavy. We should have gone back for E-bikes in the first 10 minutes but pressed on. That was a mistake. As a consequence, we really could not ride trails in the forest. We ended up on what was more of a 2 hour ride through Voss on some wider trail roads and actual roads. Mohan did change the routing to something we could do, which we appreciated. But it was not a forest tour in any way. We did not feel like we got good value on this activity. Unless you have ridden mountain bikes in the past, the recommendation is that you insist on taking an E-bike and then you will likely have a much better experience than we did. Had we known the outcome beforehand, we would have insisted. And like other activities, they hammered us to sign the waiver, then they had no record of it and just took our word that we signed it.

Had a great time with our tour guide Mohin on this trip! Parts of it were in the forest and mountains, others in the city. Highly recommended!

Very cool tour through the forest near Voss. Fear of single trails is not exactly what you should be afraid of, then the round is also well suited for beginners. We had an excellent guide - Mikkel - who is able to adapt the course to the capabilities of the force. Very good wheels. Overall a recommendation!

Amazing experience and perfect guide. Mikkel is a superb guide. Really helpful with e-bike newbies but then pushed us to take on new challenges.

I had a great experience, mainly because of my guide Mohan, who was really great with me. The weather was bad, and the trails were super wet, muddy and slippery. On top of that I couldn’t get used to the brakes being on the opposite sides of handle bar. So, for me, it was literally ‘try not to fall’ as opposed to ‘shredding the trail’. Mohan did an awesome job of showing me the trails, giving me tips and letting me know in advance if there is a gnarly section ahead. I highly recommend him.

The sea kayak tour of the Sognefjord in August 2023, with guide Genís Martí Casado was a wonderful experience. The boats and equipment were in excellent condition, the location was beautiful and peaceful, the paddling excellent. A nice group of people and Genís was engaging, warm, and extremely competent. Also the trip from Voss to the fjord was gorgeous.

Genis was an amazing guide. Had many alternative routes in mind based on our level of e-mountain biking and explained all safety procedures very well. He is very experienced mountainbiker. We highly recommend this tour.

Great mountain bike route with our guide Genís! A fairy tale landscape. We passed through a beautiful forest, different paths full of charm and we ended up in a beautiful river. Genís adapted at all times to the different levels of the group and made us live an unforgettable experience.

Genís was our guide on the sea kayak tour and then we had the opportunity to go with him again on the mountain bike route. At all times he was very professional, kind, pleasant and adapted to our needs. The Sea Kayak route is impressive. It's really worth doing! Once in the water you can admire the marvelous landscape, full of mountains, vegetation and waterfalls. After paddling for two hours we ate on a small, beautiful beach surrounded by nature. In addition, Genís was telling us stories about Fjord and Norway. During the mountain bike route we pass through a beautiful forest and different paths full of charm and we end at a beautiful river. Genís adapted at all times to the different levels of the group and knew how to make the route an unforgettable experience.

The bike ride in the forest is beautiful and it can be adapted to different rider levels. Genís, our guide was super informative and very mindful of safety all along. Great experience!
