The country is amazing, very worth the trip. I would need more time to appreciate every detail of the place
Absolutely brilliant trip from start to finish. We were picked up from our hotel in Cavtat and headed first to Mostar in Bosnia & Herzegovina. Our driver, Daf, was outstanding throughout the day – a safe and professional driver with excellent knowledge of the region, its history, and local culture. He shared fascinating information along the journey, which really enhanced the experience. The border crossing was quick and hassle-free, with Daf ensuring everything ran smoothly and efficiently. On arrival in Mostar, we were introduced to a local guide who spent around 30 minutes giving us a tour of the city and its history. It was the perfect introduction before we had several hours to explore at our own pace. Mostar is a beautiful and fascinating city, and we really enjoyed our time there. Our next stop was Kravice Waterfalls, which were simply stunning. The scenery was breathtaking, and swimming beneath the waterfalls was an unforgettable experience. It is an absolute must visit destination if you’re in the area. Overall, it was a fantastic day and a very well-organised. I would recommend it to anyone staying in the Dubrovnik area who wants to experience a little of neighbouring Bosnia & Herzegovina. We travelled with our two children, aged 4 and 8, and they both really enjoyed the day despite some longer periods in the minibus. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and there were plenty of toilet stops along the way. Border crossings were straightforward and caused no issues. A special mention must go to Daf, who was an exceptional driver and tour leader. His professionalism, knowledge, and friendly nature made the day even more enjoyable. A truly memorable experience and some wonderful family memories made.
We had a lovely day. Our guides were lovely and knowledgeable. Swimming in the falls was fab. Seeing the pictures in the War museum was very emotional. Lovely country lovely people. I would go again but in a much smaller group. This would save a lot of time at boarder control. More time is needed at the falls
The waterfalls were beautiful, and the bridges of monstar were very impressive. The journey too Bosnia was very long and the guide on the coach was extremely boring and underwhelming. The amount of time in monstar wasn’t enough too truly explore, sea or experience the culture or bosnia and it was very expensive trip for what it was .
Unfortunately, I can't recommend this tour operator, as the tour itself was rather rushed, and we felt like we spent more time on the bus than enjoying the sights. A few issues: we boarded the bus last and asked the organizer in advance to reserve four seats for us so we could all sit together, but the guide only reserved a seat for two children, forcing me to sit behind them and my husband at the very end. Although there is a designated seat for the guide on the bus, the woman instead took the two front seats for herself, splitting our family up the bus. Customs went smoothly and quickly enough, but we had to pay a fare tax (3 euros each). I don't remember for sure whether this was included in the tour, so I won't lie – I recommend double-checking! Bathroom breaks: The 47 people on the bus were given 15 minutes for a restroom break and were warned several times to be on time. Since the trip started early in the morning (7 a.m.), we didn't have the opportunity to have breakfast. We were really hoping to stop after crossing the border for coffee and a snack; by this point, it was already around 9 a.m. But since the break was only 15 minutes, we all just had to stuff food in our mouths, wash it down with coffee, and run back. Tour operator - please consider queue time to the toilet and at the shop and so plan trip accordingly!!! There were signs on the bus that eating and drinking were prohibited, so we didn't eat, and I don't really know how that works. There is no toilet on the bus too . Arriving at the Kravica Waterfalls, we were again asked to pay the entrance fee and were given only 1 hour and 10 minutes. But while the guide repeated many times what time we needed to return and how to get to the waterfall, and then explained on the pass how many people there were and who would pay for what ( cash or card ) , 10 minutes had already gone and in fact we only had 1 hour. Only because the weather wasn't conducive to swimming we sort of had enough time, although I did have to leave my glass of wine at the café downstairs to avoid being late. In warm weather, and if you decide to swim, I think there simply won't be enough time for everything or just to enjoy the moment. Consider other groups and queues!! Then we continued on to Mostar. Mostar is a truly wonderful place, but again, the whole experience was ruined by the lack of time. We were given 2 hours 50 minutes. When we went to the Elaphiti Islands, we were given 3 hours on the tiny island of Lopud, and even less for Mostar?? Our English-speaking guide was excellent; he knows the place and loves it with all his heart, which made the tour truly interesting. I really regret that we couldn't devote more time to him. However, after the 40-minute tour, we had time for lunch, and we had to rush back to the bus. Again we were told that it is better to eat in Mostar , but tour guide does not think about time that is spent for serving the lunch . It’s pity we didn’t had to enough time to stroll down the historic streets and explore a bit more of it . Overall, we felt like we were a group of schoolchildren on a trip with very limited time available.
You will get a genuine feel for mostar and its people and get the chance try the local food and drink
Super good! We loved the Carmen guide pending any of our needs and the very good George driver tremble. Highly recommended the experience
This tour was absolutely incredible. Although it was long, time flew and our driver/tour guide was so kind and welcoming. We learned so much about the history of Bosnia. The waterfalls were absolutely incredible and the old town of Mostar was a must see. Make sure you bring cash (euros). On the way back our driver pulled over at this beautiful like wine spot overlooking the ocean and the winery. It was an awesome way to end the day. 10/10 would recommend, especially for the price!
The way out with views of the coast and islands very nice. Show small but cute. There were 2 local guides each in their language, The Very Nice Waterfalls. The Anete guide nice and efficient. He gave the same explanations in English and Spanish. Important work Things I would comment on: -it's not an excursion to go with a child's cart. Mostar is all cobbled together and for the waterfall there are stairs or a train The explanations have sometimes become somewhat scarce. Today the border crossing was not very tedious but we were almost alone. I don't want to think in high season how cool it can be. - it is a long excursion of bus hours although it was clearly explained.
Amazing experience would recommend to others , had a good time with amazing guide would go there again
